You do understand Timeline is replacing the old style? eventually everyone will have it... it's been delayed a while but I think they are starting to roll it out now.

I really wish there was a viable alternative to FB for me, but there isn't. I use it to keep in touch with family and, being generally non-PC literate, they'd never move to another site.

Probably true if you clicked a Facebook 'Like' link while visiting a porn site. Quite why anyone would click a like link for porn, or why such sites even have them is beyond me.

Just changed.

What I find odd is that, considering everything I have on fb (except for a recent wedding photo album) is set to Friends only, I have a few check-ins and very old photos back from 2008 public. Very random.

Finding a cover picture that fits was a pain, but got one in the end.

Otherwise, indifferent.
