These warnings about having it installed in program files, does this matter for mods that much? (Steam version.)
Couldn't say mate, i have steam on another drive anyway, so i never encountered that
Looks like I'm definetely going to have to find the options to tone this difficultly down a bit. Just spent ages trying to get into the supa dupa mart and constantly getting owned lol. There is about 6 raiders outside it and they nearly always all come at once, managed to get about 4 at most but generally I get owned after 1 or 2.
In a nut shell this is what this mod does, it essentially gives objects a health value. As you shoot the object and it reaches a certain health percentage it will change its looks, explode, or even both. This will help in creating a destroyable environment.
The overall feel for this mod that I'm going for is a very good immersion experience to help provide more realism and entertainment to the Fallout 3 environment.
Most of the time you will not even be able to notice that this mod is working. That's the way I want it. Overall the experience you get from this mod is better combat and more realistic combat that you will be able to better strategize in. It's cool too now be able to kill a raider by shooting the Nuka-Cola vending machine right beside him and have it blow him to pieces. Or to even drop a fission battery on a nearby table and wait for a super-mutant to walk by and have it blow off his arm after only shooting the battery once. Not to mention just being able to see more explosions.
This now will introduce a brand new aspect into the fallout world. You can now turn off of the lights, with your weapons that is. You can now shoot out lights and make the world a little darker. Perfect for all of you stealthy guys out there wanting to sneak up on some raiders. Even sneak through the enclave lines if you so choose. Make sure you keep a silenced pistol with you at all times.
Bottle that water is great with both mods! This is a hunger/thirst/sleep simulator that independently tracks blood alcohol content, hydration, calories, protein, nutrients, and the degree of fullness. Hunger/Thirst, Sleep, and Blood Alcohol tracking can be individually disabled, paused, and reset via a menu item in the aid section of your pipboy. Your character will gain or lose weight depending on diet and the amount of activity, through both body fat and skeletal muscle.
Just had my first encounter with a Super Mutant Gargantuan... what a ridiculous thing that is!

I hid under a building so he couldn't hit me, took over 1,000 Mini Gun rounds and 20+ frag grenades!
Fat Man for the WIN. I find mini nukes everywhere! I took out the Talon Company HQ or something last night. I think I need to increase dificulty because I can be out in the wasteland fighting for several in-game days without dying, only really return for ammo.
Just downloading the Big Town Overhall, as Big Town really is crap. I'll install it after rescuing the captives at the Police station to try and keep in with the game.
Do you know if Big Town Overhaul is in '****'?
