Fallout 4 to feature Nvidia Gameworks

Looks ok, but certainly nothing new or exciting...also a shame it's nvidia only.

No that just means Nvidia aren't sabotaging performance on AMD cards again.
Not having it on AMD cards is a good thing because there's nothing but complaints when Nvidia tech is run on AMD hardware.

Remember the hair in The Witcher 3 or God Rays in Fallout 4, no worries about a repeat of that for AMD users now.
AMD cards without this effect will probably run the game at higher FPS than Nvidia cards with the effect because it's an Nvidia effect so performance impact will be huge.

Nothing but complaints when Nvidia tech is run on Nvidia hardware too.:p

People are complaining because some AMD users aren't complaining that they can't get it.:D

Yeah, but that's mostly AMD owners again :p

I think there's a bit of confusion any time AMD users aren't complaining about something, it's throwing people :D

If honest that debris/damage effect is nothing more than ok, it's just not amazing. Is that down to the devs being on a tight schedule, or is it an Nvidia thing? I remember such part destroying walls backs in Red Faction like a decade ago, is this how far things have come since?

I look at some of DM's views and I agree.

I just shot at a wall about 100 times and then ran around the debris on the floor like it was a ball pool.
Was quite a good effect tbh, Felt like the debris was reacting to my movements.

Baffled as to why people think effects have to be amazing. Effects amazing to me are the ones that are noticed and are supposed to happen. Like If I shoot at a brick wall, I want to see part of it crumble away as it should do. I want to see bends in metal etc.

Got to agree, as above, gave it a go last night and it's great, nice balance of subtle not in your face, to all out debris with the mini-gun, got to agree Flex gets my vote-Thanks Nvidia!
