Fallout 4 to feature Nvidia Gameworks

I'll wait till xmas and my missus will buy me Fallout 4. It will be tough but worth the wait unless I keep reading on here how great it is and then I will buckle. As for pre-order well its your money and I will never say you cant spend your money as you see fit.

I did not like ubisofts release of Farcry 4 so I did not buy it ( and still haven't )

My game of the year by a long shot, don't know your reasons, but it's a must play title-loved it start to finish-I don't finish many at all as they're too samey.:)

Skips to end. Sees no sign of nVidia Gameswork argument/ info. Ends.

+1

Imagine it would have been confirmed by now, Nvidia/Bethseda would have plugged it by now for sales.

Looks like pre-order is back on .:D

Possible, but I doubt untouchableNvidia care about anything negative flung their way.

They'd be shouting from the roof tops!:D

Currently enjoying the 2nd series of Fargo which shares at times the same colour palette as FO4. It's almost as though Fargo sets the scene before the bombs drop.

So are you going to sell it for £400 then?

If so then, yes great buy and £320+ is a great reward.....but if you are not going to get the £400+ for it then its not worth any more than you paid for it. Just saying!

Just because people are asking £400+ for something doesn't necessarily mean it's selling at £400+

Sell it? wash your mouth out with soap !

Whether it's selling or not on the auction site that's what is being charged for it.

I have every other box set (inc two Fallout 3 box sets) for all of the other games apart from the original pip boy edition (because just the clock alone sells for around $600) and the new mini nuke one because it's huge and you can't get it in the UK.

Believe me I used to think my mate was a complete idiot when I used to go to his house and see collector's editions all around his room. He has hundreds of the things.

But something in Fallout made me want to buy the tat. Yes, I'm aware it's tat but man it makes me so happy. Every time I look at my lunch box I smile. Every time I look at my BOS statue it brings back memories of being taught to use power armor. And those were moments that were sheer magic.

So yeah, basically if Bethesda made a plastic turd I would want it.

As for pre ordering? if I believe a game is worthy of it then I will quite happily pre order it. I've pre ordered a few games now, but only games that have proven themselves to be excellent already.

Bethesda have had a few quid out of me now. When I originally bought the lunch box edition I could only get it for PS3 so I bought it and then replaced the game with the PC version (two copies). Then I bought the BOS edition again for the PS3 and then bought the GOTY edition to go with that as well as buying a few of the DLC separately.

And do you know what? I would quite happily hand them £500 for this game. Mostly because of their talents for making this sort of game it actually feels like they made it just for me.

So yes, basically I feel that companies who make games that you enjoy deserve to be rewarded because they are a dying breed. Thank god for Bethesda, or all we'd have is Battlefield clones and COD.

I also pay for all of my games, BTW. I have a huge backlog of games going all the way back to 1996 including nearly every Sega PC title (Daytona, Sega Rally, House of the dead and so on) and every valve game ever released.

OK, just getting my bar of Imperial leather ready. :p

I have no issue with anyone collecting anything and it wasnt about any particular game in general. As I have said I loved FO3 too, but I will eagerly await your views and reviews on FO4 and If they are favourable I will get it.
That moment in FO3 as you first step out of the Vault is absolutely one of my all time favourite gaming moments and I just walked out of there totally open mouthed....so I have a lot of enthusiasm for what Bethesda have created. However, I just prefer not to pre-order due to things previously said in this thread.

Unlike many other people on here, I just cant afford to go splashing £30 - £60 on a game that is bugged to hell n back. It's about the quality at release...all I am saying is that it should be better.

As for being wound up by certain people...well like them I am a fair bit older and have skin the thickness of a Rhino...so no worries about that.
:D
