Hey dude no cheating going on here :) just removing some things that get on my boobies :p, having played over 1000 hours on fallout 3 and going on 400 hours on new vegas so have experienced pretty much everything i can in the game i just like not having to run back to base every 5 mins as i'm a massive hoarder or having to repair armor after a couple of cazador hits drives me crazy.

mods just add a little spice and like all things in life every things better spiced up LOL

Quest Items - Non-Essential and Categorised give this a try m8, i haven't tried that quest while running this mod but should do the trick as it lets you drop or sell quest items
 
Old thread i know, but was looking for this.


I reckon the best mod ever is Conelrad radio station. I have it on all of the time. it is hilarious with great music. it was originally for fallout 3 but new vegas as well.
Other mods which i think are very useful are:
centred 3rd person camera
faster pipboy
unlimited companions
companions relax
bullet time is great
sprint mod.
dynamic time scale. lets you set the day lengths.
populated casinos
project nevada- kind of an overhaul mod which has a few of the features of the other mods i mentioned such as bullet time and sprint.

Some of the mods for this game are awesome. completely change the way you play.

Can someone mod my FO NV please? Pretty please? I love mods but really can't be bothered dragging myself through the descriptions and 'how to installs' then installing and having to troubleshoot :(

I suppose it's worth it for naked ladies... :)
 
get fallout mod manager to do everything for you.

i modded mine mainly to improve visuals and a few bug fixes, but nothing that adds anything new and potentially game-unbalanacing.

i didn't like fellout, the vegas strip is dark on mine using that, i use URWL i think it was.
 
Quick question, do you guys prefer Fallout 3 GOTY or Fallout New Vegas?

I would be modding either game but would like to know what the base game experience is too.

I've got Fallout 3 on Xbox but never gotten around to play it much.
 
i started on FNV (vanilla), and got F3 GOTY and modding that basically to retrofit what was in FNV (moddable weapons, hardcore mode and ironsights)

had trouble with vanilla F3 without the mods as i knew what vegas had to offer..

edit: i'm basically now holding off until FNV has released all its DLC and playing F3 GOTY instead, plus mods will mature for FNV as time goes on.
 
THREAD BUMPAGE

I think I'm having a herp derp moment, but here goes...

I've recently gone back to FNV and wanted to clear out the mods and start again (mainly as I had about 100 running and so many have been surpassed or updated now anyway). Problem is, I can't get the Undergound Hideout mod to work and I've no idea why.

My FNV is automatically updated by Steam (1.4), so it's not that. I've tried the UHNV 4.4, 4.3 and 3.5 in the old combo pack. But the entrance just doesn't appear. What am I doing wrong?

I need this house as I've become reliant upon weapon displays and ammo shelves and auto-sorters! :D
