Fanboys

As i said it'll never happen, as you will have probably seen another thread has been locked with no action taken against those who spoilt it, not that i can see anyway as they are still active, all they do is close the threads and put a measly little pic of a padlock on there, jesus thats gona stop em, they are already having another my willys bigger than yours in another thread, so i take it we will see a padlock on that one as well before long, and they will have to move into another thread so they can continue waving their willys at each other.

I just don't see how a padlock is gona stop em, if it were me id be 'hmm threads been closed, ahh well better wave me willy in this other thread then', where as if it were ' oh **** ive been suspended etc..., when my suspensions over i better not do that again', and i wouldn't otherwise id get suspended again or banned obviously, but a padlock will just make me move to another thread instead to wave me willy, like its doing.

If theres no action taken against the users, they will just continue to laugh at the Dons 'haha threads been closed, little padlock, ill have to continue in another thread now' which they are doing.

I read the thread about playing oblivion at 4 x AA and 16x HQAF at ws res at max settings with an x1800 256 and you pulled him up for talking rubbish.

The thread was closed for bickering.

I overclock too but my actions dont need to be validated by people.I make my own judgements and get info when required if i need help.

someone makes statements about you being green filtered?
and you deem this as being helpful?

I guess im a fanboy, i did replace my 7900GT stock cooler with a Zalman VF900. It is fair to say that several people are off the mark with one or two comments, but these are forums, which create a situation for people to post their views. Anyone thinking of labelling me as a Fanboy, do they think i would care. Easy knows what im on about ;)

I think being as we`ve tried various cards, i think we have made the correct choice for our needs.

hey lay off the guy, i just said i am glad he doesnt bicker about sm3 being the be all and end all of graphics. As he said, hes learnt a lot from this forum and now hes a much more integrated part of it.

I very rarely enter the graphics section because its so predictable thesedays.

They should get suspensions etc... but as i said it doesn't happen, the threads just get closed and they move into other ones, then every so often we have a big thread about fanboys etc... will not be tolerated, this will happen, that will happen, but it never does, it dies down, then starts back up again, then said threads appear yet again for the millionth time, its just an endless cycle that goes round, were probably due the monthly fanboy thread, not tolerated, this will happen, that will happen etc... as we aint had it for a bit.

Had to be done, mate. Misinformative posts are the worst kind of posts, and against the rules here. But lets not start him off again.

I get most of my O/C tips from the one's who know what they're talking about, just giving credit where it's due. XS is good but i find the constant "woot" "OMG" nonsense just annoying.

lol, surely that stuff doesn't offend you? it's harmless banter, the stuff that goes on at work every day and gives us all a smile.

Like yourself, easyrider, i go with the card that suits my needs. I went for the x1900 this time because i wanted HDR+AA and the price was good. It could have cost me £100 more though if my Hyper 480W wasn't up to the job, luckily it seems to cope. Power usage is where the 7900GTX has the advantage, so it's an individual thing :)
 
What about the overly-sensitive people who call non-fanboys "fanboys" for stating an unbiased opinion, or the people who call other people out as liars and harrass them in every thread without justification? Can they have holidays too? :)

I suppose in a way the constant release of new cards by nvidia/ATI just adds more fuel to the fire.In a way this is exactly what nvidia/ATI want as it does there profits the world of good.
