no I didnt miss it ..,.im doing the one on times online :D

just asking if it alright team as I dont know the premiership that well

No mate, it's pretty rubbish i'm afraid :p Good players but many of them aren't likely to play that often, Hyppia and Crouch at Liverpool, Heinze is out of favour at Man Utd, Sidwell is backup to Lampard who hasn't missed a Premiership game in about 3 years.

I'm being really thick here - I'm unable to move my players about. Can someone tell what to do in stoopid-man terms?

Do you mean change the formation? If you go to the My Team page then click the wee box under a player to remove, for instance, a midfielder and then do the same with a substitute defender he should move into the defence thus changing your formation.

If you just mean putting a midfielder to the wing rather than the centre or something, I don't know how to do that either. Not sure it's possible.

:p

Don't worry about that, there are no wingers, a midfielder is a midfielder.

Changed my squad again

Formation: 3:4:3

Niemi
Mellberg, Lescott, Shorey
Ronaldo (c), Pederson, Arteta, Taylor
Zamora, Rooney, Berbatov

Subs:
Hahneman, Boyce, Baines, Teale

Hahneman would normally be my first choice, but I'm banking on Reading having a poor game against Man Utd.
Dropped Taarabt in favour of Teale, Sol Campbell has gone and I managed to pick up Lescott from the money saved!

Been making more changes

Put Evra in for Ferdinand, Evra's more likely to grab an assist/goal and he *should* play all the time with Heinze being a Judas.

Don't know what to do about Tevez though, been reading the rules on player values and there's every chance as soon as the deadline passes tomorrow, Tevez's value could go up due to the fact that a high number of players have him in their squad. So I can either grab him now and take a hit this weekend, or keep Anelka in, grab some points this weekend and hope to god Tevez's value stays the same.

when it comes to dream teams i work on the fact i get the glory from my midfield... i always bung midfielders in who i know are going to get a bag of points..

Id rather get cheaper strikers tbh, i think the strikers are too much and if they dont score they end up not really getting many points.

and there is always a cheap striker that does really well anyways.

thats my theory.....whatever :p

edit: P.S. and it seems generally its midfielders that get more points even when they dont score, by solid performances etc.. even though strikers can get the same points without scoring.. its "generally" less chance than the midfielders.

Ok lads, is there any last minute injuries that we should be made aware of, any doubtful players who as of yet have not been picked up and shown as injured in the ff league? For instance, Van Persie, I've read that he is carrying a knock but he doesn't appear injured in the ff league. I'm about to go through Man Utd's players and I'll post any doubtfuls or injured players here.

This is my squad so far, I'm deciding who to replace Tevez with, Keane, Berbatov or Viduka? Fingers crossed Edwards is fit for the Sunderland game. Up until 5 minutes ago I had Fabregas for Arteta and Van Persie for McCarthy.

Well actually because I'm such a geek I made a spreadsheet with all the players from this and their points per million of cost and defenders came out best followed by midfielders and then strikers were worst and I double-checked taking just the top 5 players from each as it could be possible the very top strikers or midfielders score more but the same held true, defenders always make more points per million.

So on that evidence I should have went with a back 5, 4 in the middle and 1 up front but I couldn't curb myself like that - everyone likes buying strikers.

I would go with Berbatov myself, although my worry is I'm not sure if he's guaranteed to start with Defoe, Bent and Keane there as well.

All those players can play off Berbatov though, they're all not really suited to each other, the Defoe Kane partnership confirms it.

Berbatov will be first on team sheet in most games unless a rest is needed.

Gordon is 4m, swapped Niemi for him. Good option to have for when Portsmouth have a tough game, can just sub Gordon in. More chance of his value going up compared to Niemi as well I reckon.

Hmm well, i was nearly right... with any spreadsheet :p

I did it for a test a couple of seasons ago... i went for a mint team and cheap strikerforce... did better than my team with a good strikeforce..

but who knows .. :p
