Fantasy Football

I've toyed with using my wildcard like mad. But i'm gonna take this weekend on the chin and just hope I get an average amount of points. Carlos Edwards is injured for a month, but i'd already transferred Ronaldo so to take him out would cost me points. I also have Carvalho who's apparantly out of this weekend :(

I basically have 11 players and no subs this weekend, they are as follows:

James
Evra
Dunne
Richards
Gerrard
Lampard
Arteta(C)
Richardson
Anelka
Aliadiere
Earnshaw

With Baines, Edwards and Carvalho on my bench injured.

Only problem is that City play United, and the original plan before any injuries/suspensions happened was for me to swap Richards with Taylor from Newcastle, but I havn't been able to do that now. So I have two City defenders against United :mad:

Also, Richardson and Earnshaw didn't start for their teams on Wednesday which is also a worry. I think Richardson will play though.

I really wanted to play my wildcard but I keep telling myself to wait until the teams who missed midweek play twice in a week :(
 
Question.....do I replace Bianchi for Santa Cruz?

Man City v Man U
Blackburn v Arsenal.

Problems again as I have already 1 Man U defender, and 1 Arsenal Defender....And I have 2 Reading players and 2 Everton players.....


Crap week coming up this week, my teams playing against each other.......

Unless Man U really pull their fingers out this weekend there's no reason to think they will be anything special.. I'd keep Bianchi in, City are on a roll at the moment aren't they and their morale must be *way* higher than at United. Bianchi should get a decent run, he has played fairly well in the last two games and has received bonus points in both.

Two points taken from Reading and Portsmouth isn't big or clever is it ;)

Saying that, I'm keeping Tevez and Evra in - fingers crossed United *will* come out fighting :p
 
Bah, only 9 points today, and I have major doubts about my lads tomorrow; a lot are in direct competition with each other, so can't see a big tally this weekend.

Sounds like Healy was denied a clear goal too?

will have to check. its down to lamps malouda or gerrard tomorrow... or a good display from man city :p

hmm on second thought.. ive done quite well.. overall i have 106 points now. got 23 from today.. weird.

thanks to rozehnal shorey and barry tbh. no goalscorers though. yet
 
im doing horrendously bad

missed the first week

2nd week was just a bad week

this week i forgot to swap some people round so ended up with people not even playing in my team :rolleyes:

I'd have liked a clean sheet today, but not only did Everton concede, Lescott was booked too, so one point for him :)

And with Friedel, Finnan and Dunne in difficult games tomorrow, I won't be holding my breath!

Wouldn't mind, but two players on my bench had clean sheets today (Kirkland and Taylor) Bah
 
ahh, just got the table updated.

ive moved up to 11th from todays results. not bad considering no goalscorers.

hopefully i can get a good few points tomorrow. Im slowly but surely moving up the table :) pleased from an average day
 
lol, I was dreading today since I decided to leave Richards and Dunne in there rather than spending points on a transfer. Oh how things pan out :(

Yeh you'd assume Richards and Dunne would get 3 and 2 bonus points. Although I've seen players do nothing in games gone by and then get 3 bonus points.
 
What a weekend.

Man U didn't do well for me today at all. 34 provisional points for the weekend.

I wonder if a clothes alterations shop would replace united with city on my Man U shirt j/k. Not a good start to the new season to say the least....
