Far Cry 2 Introduction Trailer

Isn't Far Cry 2 being developed on PC though? They only announced the console versions quite recently so I assumed PC was lead platform. Bioshock was very nice visually, not Crysis level obviously but still pretty nice.
 
BioShock was GOTY both overall and in certain CAT's, followed by COD4 (all offical) so dont matter what you think m8.

Nobody forces you to buy this or any other game.

The games only a port if its later swapped over (Assassins Creed) months later than Console version, if they have 3 teams on it its probably ok.

Vegas was released for the Xbox 360 on November 21, 2006 and Windows on December 12, 2006. The PlayStation Portable version was released on June 12, 2007 for North America and Europe, while the PlayStation 3 version was released on June 26, 2007.

Vegas2 was later than it was to be and it was same Engine as 2006 (looks old) so its not wrong.


Vegas 2 was released for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on March 18, 2008 in North America and March 20, 2008 in Europe, except in Germany, where the game has been delayed.

The Microsoft Windows version, however, was delayed until April 15, 2008

Bioshock as console port is really not a good example, and it has nothing to do "what I think". Ages old engine in Half Life2 episodes looks better than Bioshock, with framerates that run circles around it. Any other console ports that run good, play good and look top notch you could suggest?

Btw, COD4 is GOTY, no?
 
COD4 was not GOTY, came 2nd, 1st only in its class.

BioShock was GOTY, COD4 MW was best in its cat, even the fact Bioshock was not on the PS3 did not let COD4 which was get ahead in the votes.

porting has nothing to do with release dates. Its when a piece of software is designed for one system, then rewritten for another. So Burnout Paradise was written for PS3 then ported to 360, yet released at the same time.
 
This new video looks good BUT it does not look as good as the previously released footage, it looks less smooth, it looks more console-like compared to before and I noticed what appeared to be a limited framerate as opposed to the smoothness of before in tech videos. Could this be an influence from the console versions?

Seriously tho, will have to compare the Pc demo to the Ps3 demo. If it plays well I'll buy it. But for which platform? See if my 8800GT can handle it like Crysis. if not i'll buy it on ps3. I aint buying anymore pc parts anymore too expensive

Agreed.

If gameplay is anything like the first one, it's going to be a win-win combination.

Was this game originally planned to be a PC game only, or was it a multi-platformer from the beginning?
