Far Cry 4 due this November

Just did a little vid of performance with my settings on a 7950 crossfire disabled with the new possible stutter fix. It's just perfect when playing, no issues or drops under 60fps plus no stutter at all. Obviously with DXTory and youtube upload quality, gameplay is smoother than actually shown.

What's the fix?

So essentially then it's going to run like crap on my GTX670 2Gb?

runs fine on an r9 280 on high settings @1080. Don't have a higher resolution to try & haven't experimented yet with higher quality settings. So, unless you're looking for a higher res etc... i'm guessing it should be decent enough.

Just looking at this guide by Nvidia....

Is an epic read so for anyone in the know, the "Nvidia" video settings, are they worth it or is using ultra settings still the best?

I think its the same

HBOA+, Enhanced God Rays, Fur and so on are all in the settings and i use them, they all had Nividia this and that written infront of them before the last patch, now they don't but its still the same.
The only thing i don't have is TXAA, but if i want to implement a better AA i will use SMAA Supper Sampling in CCC, best AA in existence. IMO.

I have not tried it on lesser settings. i just went right for the highest IQ.

Stop press! I have fixed native ultra widescreen support while fiddling with the XML!

Fml :(

Apologies if this has been mentioned, Anyone else having issues with mouse acc? Its turned off everywhere but when aiming down the sites it feels like my mouse is stuck in mud... trying to aim with little adjustments doesn't work at all :(

For anyone having major stuttering when looking around i found this great fix works for me on my amd 290.

- Open My documents > Open Folder My Games
- Open Folder Far Cry 4
- Open the EditorGamerProfile.xml file with Notepad

set GPUMaxBufferedFrames="0" to GPUMaxBufferedFrames="1"

This allowed my to crank everything to max -AA and 70ish fps! :D

well, I just installed my card and waited 24hours for farcry4 to download (live in somerset, terrible internet!)

I just tried running the game on high settings and I must say I am very disappointed with the performance. There was noticeable fps lag (I am unsure what the actual figure was). I was expecting this card to run far cry with no issues what so ever.

Am I doing something horribly wrong or do I need to change any settings or anything? Any help would be appreciated.

PC specs:

i7 4770k
8gb team red vulcan ram
samsung 840 evo
Gigabyte gtx 970
benq2420t

anyone else feel that god rays makes the game look ugly maybe volumetric looks better but i thought enhanced was meant to be better?

GOD RAYS OFF

GOD RAYS VOLUMETRIC

GOD RAYS ENHANCED

Edit : Could it be because enhanced is for nvidia only and looks like crap for me on my amd? not sure what settings are Nvidia only tbh.

Maybe someone willing to compare this scene on there nvidia card?

I certainly saw some improvement doing this. My issue is that I have crushing black shadows that make the game unplayable. Seems to be an issue with some SLI configurations.

How do i get to this poster ? I cannot get to the little ledge below it, tried going out from the opening on the right, and nothing.
