Far Cry 4 due this November

Playing without day one patch atm - txaa and hbao+ is broken atm, but either a driver or update will fix that.

Performance wise better than I was expecting .,. Maxed out bar the above with msaa x4 I'm hitting between 40-60 @2560x1080 , a stutter now and again (every other location ) but again is nothing like ac or watchdogs and is extremely playable on a 970 ... Waiting for driver for sli and should be a decently performing game . Haven't noticed any bugs like AC , seems like far cry got a decent budget... In the mountains in the mist this is actually one gawjus looking game

Sound promising for the pirate version (which I've read has a couple of problems such as the map), should be onto a winner with the retail and day one patch

yeah , further into the game now so can clarify a couple of things

Map is broken as above ... vehicles such as the QUAD produce the most amount of stuttering , but in car and mid glide its actually pretty smooth

FUR is working , however is far from as detailed as ive seen in demo's

The game is full of contrasts of DARK and LIGHT scenes, get ready to tinker with in game settings or monitor OSD . sometimes in parts its impossible to see .

two modes of v-sync

Standard And 30fps

now and again ive noticed the NPC's that are apart of the mission , run around crazy for no aparant reason then go back to where they were lol .

SSBO is also borked , but Nvidia God Rays work

running off an SSD, still suffers from the gradual texture pop in , only UBI's games texture pop like this its weird

Follow these instructions (taken from HDUK)

STEPS REQUIRED:
1) Download a VPN Hola extension for Chrome

2) Connect your VPN to a Indian server, then go to http://www.origin.com

3) Search and Add Far Cry 4 Gold (Rs 2,700/approx. £27.33) or far cry 4 normal edition (Rs 1,799/approx. £18.21) & Assassins creed Unity Gold edition (Rs 2,700/approx. £27.33) or assassins creed unity standard edition (Rs 1,799/approx. £18.21) to your cart

4) Go to your basket and proceed through the usual checkout procedure, chrome doesn't always translate correctly, but it shouldn't be too hard.

4) When it asks you to login to your origin account, disconnect from your VPN (or turn hola off). **Failure to do so will make this trick not work.

5) Continue through the checkout procedure, Paypal is not accepted on the Indian store so Debit/credits cards only. UK address Works fine for me so your bank shouldn't run into problems.

6) Both games are now tied to your origin account, What happens next is you pre-load with origin around the release time, Then when you come to play the game Uplay will open up and ask for your product code which you will find by right clicking the games icon within origin>>Then click view product details>>Copy and paste the product key>>Then press (I think) control+V to paste the code into uplay.

Many Thanks, all sort

Why would people need to tinker with OSD controls between scenes? That's a bit ridiculous. I know my monitor is displaying perfect colours and shadow balance so if a game forces me to adjust those because the devs have made a scene too dark then the game has failed.

don't shoot the messenger , just telling you how it is.... weather it be brightness or contrast . but either in game or on the OSD like I said. the choice is upto you
