Didn't really like Farcry 3. Just a load of quests sprawled across the island map, populated with mercenaries stood around waiting for me to kill them.

I suspect this will be exactly the same.

I wanted to pre-order this but the vast variety of launch boxes with a bewildering arrary of day one DLC has put me off. I'll still likely end up buying it though as Far Cry 3 was one of my favourite games of all time and I also loved blood dragon!

I don't understand that comment, I thought the AI were pretty good, fire one shot into a camp & the whole lot go into action to seek you out from all directions

Really want to play this at release but what with Ubisofts "recent" comments and actions, and the fact that these days Pre-ordering is an extremely risky business I'll hold off.

I heard a rumour that Ubisoft region locked their recent games, so if you bought via India on Origin (for instance) you might have to use a VPN to unlock the game.

This was the case with AC: Unity (apparently).

If they have region locked Far cry, you will only need the VPN to unlock it, not to play.

I'll look at that now, cheers!

*EDIT*

I'm on an Indian VPN but still have no option, Origin says it's available November 17th at 23:00.

I am fine with that if it will actually work but as I said it's not showing in Uplay yet, or won't it until I activate via origin?
