In FC4 I used the bow more than any other weapon. If the stealth mechanics are similar then this will be awesome I think. If stealth fails just call in the grizzly!
 
Atleast its not the same, always wanted a good dinosaur game, I feel like nothing has quite hit the bar for it yet. Farcry 3 and 4 where just the same game but with a different story. looking forward to this one :)
 
Indeed, at least they're trying something new. I do love me a bit of Far Cry, so will wait and see what it's like come release.
 
I've not been a big fan of Far Cry since the first one but the setting for this certainly has me intrigued although I think I'll probably wait until it's going cheap.
 
Ugh, if only they would just remake the original. Exactly the same but with the latest graphics. I'd give anything for that, plus the same multiplayer.
 
I've enjoyed all of them so far - yes, even number 2. Having just reached Shangri-La in Far Cry 4, I can see how they have spun off that in to this game in a way. Commanding tigers, using bows to slow time, etc.

The only complaint about FC4 that I would like to see sorted in this is better textures. I thought Dunia engine could make things look beautiful but FC4 still looks a bit last gen on PS4. Maybe as there were Xbox 360/PS3 versions they watered things down a bit.

I thought FC4 looked great on PS4. I've played and enjoyed them all. Got this on pre-order. Really looking forward to it. Watched some gameplay yesterday and I already know I am going to love it.

I think my problem was just having finished Dragon Age: Inquisition. The textures in that are superb and then FC4 just looks fuzzy although the character models are great, the landscape just looks a bit "meh" to me.

Jeez that's one from the memory banks. It had that horrendous mouse hand controlling system didn't it?

Still spent a fair bit of time in it thought!

I'm confused, I googled far cry primal release date. It said the 23rd. But Steam is saying 1st March. Does PC get it later..?

If so I'll probably grab it on ps4 or Xbone. Need more games on those anyway.
