Farage has bank accounts closed

Chris Bryant claimed in parliament that Farage earned money in 2018 from RT.

Farage says in this video he didn't ever receive money from anyone related to the Russian government

RT are Russian government propaganda/mouthpiece

But he was employed by RT in 2018...so how did they pay him then?

Who gives a ****? People were free to work for Russia Today in 2018.

I wonder where he would prefer to emigrate to and if he transferred his money yet.

Would the recipient of his cash be considered a PEP associate and need to be subject to the same no banking for you rules?

I also wonder what will to happen to him now he's made that video. Evidently he's up for the battle ahead.

Has his family moved to Germany yet?

Maybe he didn't get his German passport in time? What colour is it?

He wouldn't be able to get a German passport. You have to live in the country for a extended period to do that (3 years, if you're married to a German), and you need to satisfy them that you are sufficiently connected to the country. Plus, does he speak any German? Farage seems like the kind of guy to shout loudly in English instead.

I work for a bank and the most common reason why people have their accounts closed is because they either abuse their finances or they receive money from suspect sources. ( money mule )

Wondering if the recent death of mr bunga bunga (Silvio berlusconi ) or the conflict in Russia regarding mr Prigozhin has anything to do with it ?

Problem with this is that he is trying to paint himself as being the victim of the ‘ evil establishment’ which he will try and use as ammunition to gain support from the right wingers

Curious about the details but not really surprised people on here don't find political persecution to be a massive issue.
Isn't this what happened to the Triggernometry guys recently?

I know at least 3 people in the past who have had their personal account closed. One only found out when he went into the bank to make a deposit.

II think this issue shows the dangers of a cashless society, especially when banks are doing this. They have been already dictating what kind of businesses they deem acceptable in the past. Anyone remember when they were going to block OnlyFans payments? They only backtracked when everyone complained.

One of the first companies to do this kind of behaviour online was Patreon. Any political content they didn't agree with they blocked the account. But look who's accounts they haven't been blocking;

I read they rejected his application for an German passport......twice. I wonder why!?!?!?!
