Also Labour were strongly in favour of remain, why else do you think there was so much news about them being out of touch with their main supporters? The only one that we can assume voted out was corbyn considering he would not reveal if he voted remain or leave.

Also seeing that the conservatives are in now, if we just ended up with an EU-lite deal with uncontrolled freedom of movement and the EU still dictating some of our policy then you can be sure that people would hate them for it.

But people didnt vote leave for closing our borders? I thought it was all about Sovereignty ?

Now you are just throwing racism into this. From the start it was always about controlling our borders and limiting the numbers. Even from the ukip side of things. The remain campaign and news constantly plastered it with racism and stopping everyone when it was always about control.

Because when you are an ultra liberal, if someone else's view doesn't align to yours then you are a racist etc.

Didnt call you a racist but I'm confused. The leave campaign always said it was never about controlling immigration and since the vote most leave voters say the same thing. But now it is?

We have control of immigration outside of the eu and we let 175k per in despite the target being 10k. So if, and its a big IF, we get control of the numbers allowed in from the EU, why is that going to be any less than the 350k we let in now?

And I know a lot of leave voters and to be honest i believe them when they tell me immigration had nothing to do with it, it was all about not wanting to be in an EU superstate.

On the other hand, living in one of the most openly racist parts of the country, i know a lot who's sole reason to vote out was to keep the carpet heads out of the UK.

A few people in here are anti Brexit to a lessened extent. We actually have in the real world people who are prepared to act on this in a militant way out there, including some MPs.

It really would not surprise me if some of this racist graffiti was daubed by remainers to stoke up tensions... It really wouldnt

I didn't say that you called me a racist, i said that you brought racism into the conversation.

And when i mean that 'it was always about controlled migration' i mean their policy on border control.

Also when Cameron was confronted on his question time episode over the numbers of people coming in from outside the UK, he just blathered on about it being difficult when had full control over it. He had no legitimate reason as to why the government had not reduced the numbers. But considering how the vote went, i think the government will actually deal with that issue as well now.

part of his QT episode where he is confronted with immigration. even Dimbleby turns around and tells Cameron that he has full control over it.

Only in London. The remain vote was only strong there and in Scotland, and the SNP have that tied up.

Erm most of the work of the MP's isn't actually done in the chamber they show on TV, that is pretty much for debates and votes.
Things like actuallyworking on legislation tends to be done in smaller groups.

It's like claiming that most of the people in a School only turn up for assembly, when in reality that is a fairly small part of the day.
