The 10's will be known as the decade when they cleaned up the 70's/80's and 90's.

They'll be known as the decade when we blamed the ills of our country on migration and then realised that actually the problem is our own government as they systematically make things even worse.

This is just the establishment in this thread riling against UKIP and what someone has achieved in opposition. Can't think of anyone else who's led their party for so many years. Hopefully he'll be on hand to assist other EU countries see the light. Top work achieved by someone sticking to their principles and not wavering to whatever populist politics that the other three parties do because their too spineless to remain true to a particular direction. What I mean is Labour have gone from left to middle and recently back to left. The conservatives also shifted to the middle to chase the populist vote and soon will be moving further to the right again. If only the other parties got their own houses in order rather than sweeping the euro skeptics under the rug, the recent backlash may not have come back to bite them.

Well put.

Indeed.

If as many people on here and out there across the UK that are at each other instead got together and protested in bringing the lot down maybe we would see something change, in a big way.

Probably not though.

Good post.

In a nutshell the guy is a legend, he campaigned tirelessly throughout his entire political career for a European exit and got it for us. We got the referendum. Our side won.

Interesting his suggestion that existing migrants have to be allowed to stay, he is trying to make it clear to the racists that we simply will not be sending anyone home.

This is common sense. I would expect even the brainless to realize we would not be partaking in the ethnic cleansing of hundreds of thousands if not a million or more eastern Europeans?

People who are currently at work here have every right to be afforded the same protections as our workforce under both statute and contract.

The issue we face is we want immigration (I do at least) however the volume at which it comes here must be restricted and selective. I would make the comment that now is the time that rather than bringing in Italian Nurses costing circa £25,000 per year plus salary (another £20,000+) we should put that money into the education of our youth AND adults.

The problem is Britain has been hollowed out over the past 30 years and there is nothing left but a veneer of "Empire and Blitz spirit". The rotten inside is filled with bankers and marketeers.

There is no political movement in the Uk that will invest and rebuild the UK from the roots up. Its a fantasy world.
