well the last episode wasn't quite as epic as i was hoping for but it was satisfying enough.

i can't believe gus is getting a citation for bravery. ok malvo is one dangerous mofo but ultimately, the mail man murdered him in cold blood - hardly self defence.

i would liked to have seen lester arrested for a final scene with molly but i guess it wasn't to be. i suppose the thin ice thing was kind of fitting. also, being on the run ties in with the film.

and at least the stupid police chief came to his senses and quit.

I'd love another season especially if its as high quality as this, but i cant see them being able to do it convincingly.

Well there was a whole plot behind the film and a whole plot behind this tv show. There were a lot of tapes in Malvo's briefcase, however they might find that a bit repetitive and just do a completely different story. Or the writer just wanted to revisit Fargo one more time and that's that.

As a one of series I would have to criticise it for not exploring the characters enough. Who really was Malvo?

Man the music has been great in this series. Gave everything such a sense of dread and that final time in the last episode when the drums came in, sent shivers right up and down my spine. Just excellent.

Soundtracks are really becoming something else to praise in all these new cable shows.

Agree. True Detective made me go straight to youtube after every episode to see what songs were played.

Most of the time the songs are rubbish, but the sound producers know the perfect 30 seconds of these songs that are incredible and fit the moment perfectly.

It must just be an incredible knowledge of music really.

That's Season 1 finished, not sure if there is any more story for a season 2? I enjoyed it thought every episode was very good.

I completely agree. Pretty tense episode!

Totally agree with the murder bit too - not sure why he is considered to be brave? I feel it was a bit too sudden, they could have got a bit more out of it. It was pretty tense and I suppose they killed him off in that way because of how casually he killed other people?

Got around to finishing this off last night, good little series. Wouldn't want to go out like that myself.
