GPS said just under 165 in a limited E60, before we ran out of road.

mine hit 170 indicated before it was delimited which is about 164ish GPS. ( didnt have GPS plugged in then)

they all seem to be very similar. :)

We were under the misty impression he was working with a company that did high performance suspension setups for super cars and the like. This seemed odd as you'd expect that was a reasonably well paid job where you'd drive something better than a Renault Megane.

Tell us more, we could do with a laugh.

Was on the back of my friends blackbird, going around 120mph, I found it ridiculously hard to hold onto the handles, but so much fun! I take my hornet600 to 130 the odd time.

Drilled out exhaust? So I take it you ride past police stations with clutch in :)
It wasn't that loud actually, it was just there was a restriction in the exhaust to stop it going as fast, think it was the same engine (or very similar) as the ZZR1100 (which was the fastest bike out when it was first released). Basically it kind of came out, then went back in a bit then finally came out of the silencer, so my dad just drilled it through! Made it power wheelie in 3rd gear but it was too fast for the bike really, it would start to shake it's head out of corners if you just opened it up. Was a tank slapper waiting to happen.
