Fastest speed

Me: 141MPH in a Rover Coupe VVC
Passenger: 95MPH in a Rover Coupe 1.6

I don't really know anybody that drives fast so as a passenger I have never been exposed to it.

Driver - 120MPH in my 1.6 Focus; didn't feel like going much faster than that, kinda ran out of steam :p

Passenger - also about 120MPH in my Dad's old X reg 732i :D

t3h

Driver: 240km/h (145mph) indicated in an E36 325i, somewhere in Germany.
Passenger: 110mph indicated, P11 Primera 1.6 GX, somewhere on the M1.

mine arent that impressive tbh.

135 indicated driving, also did a 130gps on return run. car felt like it had plenty more in it but my eyes were seeing the fuel gauge :/

passenger - 155 limited in a M3.

Own car: Driver, 137mph indicated in the Xantia on a long downhill stretch
Mates car: Driver, 125mph indicated, 2006 Porsche 911 Carrera 4S Cabriolet and has been mentioned, its not top speed but how you get there, didnt take very long at all to get to 125 and I think it was still in 4th, backed off as mate was getting twitchy and could see his white knuckles out of corner of my eye :p
Bro's car: Passenger, 155ish, Porsche 911 Turbo 2

I want a 911 Turbo, I wub them.

1982 Minivan- 102 - Revs/Gearbox used to work out final speed (that engine died shortly afterward!!

1992 - Corrolla GL Liftback - 115 indicated

1992 BMW 525i (Chipped) 135 indicated (before i pooped myself and nearly missed my turnoff!)

1989 Volvo 480 turbo - 130 indicated (only making 3-4PSI atm!)

Mini felt the fastest of the lot!

All on my own private airstrip of course!!

I have been round Rockingham Oval and hit over 130 in a single seater, i was not looking at the speedo though, so no idea what top was!

Driving - Just over 100 in the Polo probs.

Passenger
-140ish indicated in Dad's old S3
-Over 100 round the 'Ring in a stripped out 968CS, felt a lot faster though as you can imagine :D

To be fair, you can't post claims like those, on a forum like this, without people wanting some form of proof. Look at the lengths people went to to get some lad to prove he owned a 3 Series BMW. I'm sure you have some photographs lying around if you spent as much time around those cars as you claim. Faces can be blurred, there are plenty of anonymous image hosting systems out there...

Me driving... 145 indicated in my Mondeo, felt like it had a little more left in it, but ran out of road. Actual book top speed is 140, will repeat the excercise with GPS at some point.

Passenger.... similar speed with dad when he drove a V6 Omega.

I did 362mph (guiness book of records comfirmed) on the back of a donkey with nitrous oxide YO

I don't really care about top speed - it's all about acceleration baby! :D
This man speaks the truth. :D

But fastest I've been I guess would be 165mph (indicated) on my old Suzuki GSXR600 SRAD, not got the balls (or stupidity) anymore to ride like that on the current bike.
