Favourite Beer/Favourite Spirit!

I'll drink anything, but I am fond of Hoegarden as a beer, or Leffe Blond.

Not much of a shots/spirit person, but I am partial to a drop of vodka, or ideally a white russian; I know it's a bit of a girls drink, but it's so, so tasty.

Also Jaegerbombs [Jaegermiester in a shot glass dropped into a glass of red bull], embaressingly enough - bit of an Islington Council IT dept tradition these days.

No images because most micro-brewers are luddites; here's some recent favourites of mine:

Beers:
Thornbridge: Jaipur IPA
Cottage Brewing: Tornado, HMS Ajax
Kelham Island: Pale Rider IPA, Point Blank [a black beer], Red Molly [a red beer]
The Brew Company: Spring Bock [a light ale]

Stout:
Salamander: Blackout

Sheffield is a fine, fine place to be a beer fan :)

Jaegerbombs, dont be embarrased, amazing stuff. Had too many last night!

beer: Birra Moretti (Italian lager)

Guinness, lol. Awful out of a can, and a good pint of it is as rare as an Irish potato.

Rarer I would say, worst I ever had was about ten years ago in a right dive of a place ( yep that should have put me off straight away ).

Took the first sip and I think nah, can't be take a gulp....oh.my.goodness the bloody stuff was fizzy.

When I took it back the barman tried to claim it was Guinness Original ... ' like that stuff you see in the shops'. Thankfully he swapped it for a bottle of Nukie Broon.

Lovely light beer. First tried it locally in Perth but my local in Glasgow has it fairly regularly as a guest.

Lovely whisky, I normally prefer an Islay but this always tastes excellent.
