Favourite Beer/Favourite Spirit!

Beer: Anything as long as it isnt tasteless like carling or carlsberg or tuborg etc.
Ale: Robinsons Old Tom
Wine: Can't decide, some aged Riojas do it for me, but mostly I stick with French £10+
Spirit: I'm not that clued up, but whisky is my thing and the nicest I have had recently was some Tomatin 18 year old single malt, was very smooth.

Wife Beater, all the way. If I want to enjoy a pleasant sup, excite my palate and feel superior to those drinking what I term slop, I'll stick with tea nazi. When I drink, I drink.

Sure is :) 8.9%, very nice though. One of my locals has it on tap, it's a locally brewed (to me anyway, Stockport) beer. Not usually a fan of dark ales, but old tom slips down very nicely! (ahem..)

Yeah it aint to bad, I bet they only serve it half's though.

I dont know if anybody has had this but its one of my fave's and it is rare as...

If anyone knows where they sell that, in this country, I will make love to you.

Glenmorangie Quinta Ruban (the best review of it here - describes it weirdly well :) )
also quite fond of the Dalmore Gran Reserva, Macallan 15 Year fine Oak and if i'm in the right mood i break out my bottle of blue label...

yet to find a drinkable bourbon!

the only Gin to drink:
hendricks-gin.jpg

Ideally as a martini:
cool hendricks in freezer for 2-3 hours.
swill mineral water in a glass, pour out and place glass in the freezer for same time.
mix 1/8 shot of vermouth, 2.5 shots of gin in the glass, add an olive and enjoy :)
