Features the PS3 has but the 360/Wii doesnt?

I wondered how long it would take for people to start stupid immature comments.

Quite sad really.
My comment was supposed to be a joke btw, hence the wink :p I did actually add something constructive to the post, no one had said Sixaxis and I believe that is a feature.

I know, i didnt mean you, more a generalisation :)

Ask this question again after tomorrows big announcement from Sony. Maybe then we can add Playstation Home to the list?

ooh, just thought of another. The PS3 has a dust magnet built into it which the other two dont. :D

So true, my mate got his out the box - no lie in 10seconds covered in dust and finger prints!

Looks like some kind of mouse control for FPS games is supported..

thats a biggie for me

Fingers crossed they will open up the media playback side of things, either officially or through linux.

360 is simply too noisy & too restricted in that side of things & I doubt the wii has enough power to cope.

they really need for get there finger out if they want to be taken seriously, its turned in to another money fuled "product" rather than a true gamers console. when they get some games released that are worth the plastic there burned on i will go and by one

If it was JUST a console you might have a point - but its not so ........

Fine X360 gives you the choice of adding things on after purchase where PS3 builds them in from the start - to the same spec they are approximately the same price so not exactly "money fueled"

As for the games the rrp is actually less than MS - by about 20 % and roughly of the same quality as the launch titles for the X360

You pay your money and take your choice - and Thank you Sony for my free blu-ray disc of Casino Royale for registering (maybe not much but better than nothing from MS)

I would also suggest as the hdmi connector is on the back it does have that out of the box (very few electronic items come with free cables anyway, possibly a cheapo scart lead if yur lucky)

My 360 is silent when playing DVDs or in the dashboard. It's only noisy when the DVD drive spins up to it's max rpm which never happens when watching DVDs etc.

You can bench press a PS3 and see real muscle gains.
to be fair you could do that with the 360's power brick - maybe not bench presses but certainly curls if you had two of em ;)

mine isn't

I can hear the cooling fans, something I cant do on the PS3

Near Silent operation, though the Wii is the same.
Reliability (Over the 360, probably the same as the Wii)
Bluetooth, not a propriety Wireless solution, so should be easier for 3rd parties to create controllers, like red octaine.
Since the Wii has all of those they aren't "Features the PS3 has but the 360/Wii doesnt", surely?

Well iirc the bluetooth is not accessable by anything but the nintendo controllers on the Wii, but on the PS3 it is usable. So that is why i listed it.
And also it has features over the 360, which is probably what people are going to want to compare more too than the Wii. And i did also note that the Wii done the same, its not like i am trying to pull wool over anyones eyes.

Do you watch the films on mute? ;)
I get what you are saying, but I usually play my consoles when my daughter has gone to bed so and we have the volume down low'ish so as not to wake her. This is when I can hear the 360 whirring away and it gets right on my thrupenny bits!!!
