On a service that doesn't offer the stuff that make Xbox Live great, the ability to rate players so you know what they are like before you play them, being able to avoid them, being able to message them in-game, add them to one universal friends list throughout titles, compare games, compare achievements.

Whilst Blu-Ray is clearly brilliant, so is HD-DVD. Blu-Ray started off worse, now it's about the same, however until the 'war' is sorted it doesn't mean much if it's not gonna be supported widely after 24-months. I'd have preferred a seperate drive with the option to buy seperately.

This is something Sony have gotten right and it does annoy me at times (on certain discs - PGR3 and One Tree Hill - Season 1, Disc 4 for example are very loud in the drive and the inclusion of 2 small fans (over Sonys 1 big fan) are obviously louder, Microsoft did go for Style over substance with that one by cramming everything into a stylish case after the hammering they took over the design of Xbox.

You actually have a choice of 3 - The Memory Card, the 20gb HDD or the new one about to be released. I would however have preferred a seperate laptop HDD upgrade much like PS3, but then again, I don't need the space on the Xbox360 to install games.

Does it matter that it's out the box. I bought the wireless adapter for £60 for when I take it to friends houses to LAN, but for 12 months it was sat 2ft from my router, if I didn't want the wireless I would have saved myself £60. Again, optional to the price of the 360.

Whilst not being able to comment personally as mines still going strong, records show that there IS a problem with the Xbox360, more so than PS3 or Wii when narrowed down to percentages. So it is more reliable at the moment.

Gran Turismo, Jak & Daxter , Ratchet & Clank, God of War, Ico and Wipeout interest me. Of course, if you count all versions of those SIX games you have TWENTY titles.
Microsoft Game Studios have: Fable, Forza Motorsport, Halo, Jade Empire, Project Gotham Racing, Rallisport Challenge, Alan Wake, Banjo-Kazooie, Gears of War, Mass Effect, Too Human and Viva Pinata, all of which interest/interested me. Thats also 12 franchises and still 20 titles, 6 of which are without sequels or announced sequels (because GoW will get one).
I also don't have to mention Nintendo's games, saying that, they truly are the Sequel masters, Mario Party 8 anyone?

Dolbe True HD sound and also 7.1 I think
Hopefully they utilise it, DTS on PS2 was never great. 7.1 just isn't needed, I've had 2x 7.1 setups, one on the PC and one 7.1 surround through a proper 7.1 Pioneer Amplifier. We are still getting the best from 5.1, but hopefully Sony can fully utilise 7.1 in the best 24-72 months.

For now. I believe Sony have the ability to say when to stop, I just can't see them releasing Metal Gear Solid and Gran Turismo as Region Free as Japan will get them a long time before us.

So can my PC, doesn't mean I have any want to. I just don't see why this is a 'feature', it just seems bizarre.

Ability to use any web cam
Something I would have liked to have seen with Xbox360, especially since you thought that if any company would support that it would be MS, but atleast the Vision is one of the better ones out there.
I'm not saying the PS3 doesn't have any benefits, it does have web browsing which looks quite cool. HDMI is a benefit, but only in the terms I don't have to unplug my Xbox360 from Component when upstairs.
This is not meant as a pro/anti argument against any console or any one person, JUMPURS is one of the best posters here and someones whose posts I always read, and whilst I do understand how he can see every point as a positive, this is just a counter-argument, not pro-360. After all, I really want a PS3 anyway!
