I've known forever that cmd-h minimises the current window.
Today, I discovered that cmd-option-h minimises everything except the current window.

I ended up buying it. The EQ presets are quite nice and listening to Apple Music lossless through my DAC with a pair of IEMs sounds really good. I'll probably have a play around with custom EQ settings but I'm pretty happy with the software.
Music is pretty much the most important thing to me so I'm willing to spend money on something that improves the experience.
There was an app for macOS but I can't for the life of me remember what it was called. I've just installed iStat Menu and it works well but my menu bar is full and I remember there was an app that let you hide things you don't see all the time. Can someone remind me what it is called? Thanks.

What's the consensus on that after the author secretly sold it? Don't seem to be any alternative apps anywhere near as good, so I've stuck with it so far.
I didn’t know it had been sold. I updated to v5 on my Studio but stick with v4 on my MBA because I thought the automatic hiding and slowing thing based on conditions was totally messed up on v5.

I'm going to be that miserable old man here, but the terminal is probably the best choice. I use SCP in particular, sometimes multiple times a day and it works flawlessly. I certainly wouldn't pay for an app to do it.
However, to caveat that I do have (at work) a copy of Royal TSX which has SFTP and I assume SCP capabilities along side a whole host of others and it works flawlessly although it's again paid for.

Yeah, I guess you are right. I always forget the correct commands though. Having said that practice makes perfect.

Yup, Cyberduck will do SFTP as will FileZilla. I've yet to find anything GUI based for Mac that specifically does SCP other than CLI command or running WinSCP through Wine or similar.
I'm having internet issues at the moment but Cyberduck and Mountainduck look like what I want.
