Not sure how many people remember the old Mac game Escape Velocity but I found the modern version here: https://escape-velocity.games/
I spent hours playing that game back in the day.

Be really interested to hear how you get on with that. Rogue Amoeba do a lot of audio stuff.Found Sound Source which seems to be a pretty decent EQ app along with loads of other features I probably won't use.
SoundSource - A Superior Sound Control
Access your Mac's audio devices, control per-app audio, and much more, all from the menu bar.rogueamoeba.com
I ended up buying it. The EQ presets are quite nice and listening to Apple Music lossless through my DAC with a pair of IEMs sounds really good. I'll probably have a play around with custom EQ settings but I'm pretty happy with the software.Be really interested to hear how you get on with that. Rogue Amoeba do a lot of audio stuff.
What's the consensus on that after the author secretly sold it? Don't seem to be any alternative apps anywhere near as good, so I've stuck with it so far.Bartender.
Yeah, I guess you are right. I always forget the correct commands though. Having said that practice makes perfect.I'm going to be that miserable old man here, but the terminal is probably the best choice. I use SCP in particular, sometimes multiple times a day and it works flawlessly. I certainly wouldn't pay for an app to do it.
However, to caveat that I do have (at work) a copy of Royal TSX which has SFTP and I assume SCP capabilities along side a whole host of others and it works flawlessly although it's again paid for.
Have you tried cyberduck? Before I pay for it is there a better SFTP client than Transmit? Something that included SCP would be awesome.
Thanks. I'll try that out.Have you tried cyberduck?
Yup, Cyberduck will do SFTP as will FileZilla. I've yet to find anything GUI based for Mac that specifically does SCP other than CLI command or running WinSCP through Wine or similar.Have you tried cyberduck?
I'm having internet issues at the moment but Cyberduck and Mountainduck look like what I want.Yup, Cyberduck will do SFTP as will FileZilla. I've yet to find anything GUI based for Mac that specifically does SCP other than CLI command or running WinSCP through Wine or similar.
