Ferrari Luce EV

Not it's not just a car, it's a Ferrari!

Unfortunately it IS a sign of the times.

End times, end of the world imo. Late stage slow death spiral. All the signs are there, first Jag now Ferrari. Lambo next, Urus City Car

Luce throw-in-the-towel GTO edition.

Not the first PR disaster either. There was the Mondial. Which was quite a similar situation, it also is a bit like a knock-off Ferrari.

That was decades ago yet everyone still remembers it as much as the good ones.

That's a concept not a production car.... lots of concepts have been ugly, hence why they are generally concepts... to gauge reaction

The only ugly production Ferrari I know of is the 365GT4 / 400GT, but even so it's still got quite a few Ferrari design cues.

jaguar still have the award (awarded by me so maybe not that important ;) ) of going from the best car advert I have ever seen (good to be bad FType) to the worst car add I have ever seen.

and on top of that...... the Jag concept to me looks far worse than the EV Ferrari!.
I just hope the actual production model looks nothing like it..

also Ferrari have not ditched the prancing horse AND still make proper Ferraris . :p
God that advert is so good. I reckon the production type 00 will look like a cyberpunk RR ghost.

I've not been paying too much attention to the Luce, but having now seen some of the coverage, am I the only one who kind of likes it?

The only thing that seems a bit off is the price, not that I can afford one anyway. If it was 'starting at' £250k (so more like £300k+ for the one the multi-millionaires actually buy) I could see a decent market for it, not dissimilar to the Urus (PHEV now...) etc.

There isn't much wrong with the car itself, aside from 1-2 bits which look a bit ugly - as per one of the images earlier in the thread https://forums.overclockers.co.uk/threads/ferrari-luce-ev.19010877/post-38344957 with some tweaks the Honda Type R mock up actually looks really good and if you saw it from a distance it could easily be mistaken for the 2026 Nissan Leaf. The problem is it is utterly laughable as a Ferrari.

Ferrari really should just license it to another brand, if they'd take it, and go back to the drawing board, albeit a lot of their customers as above don't actually care about the car, it is the badge which is a statement.

Ugly child of an Austin Princess, Citreon BX and a Dasun Sunny three way. They even gave it the 1980s satantic wheel option..
