I like it :) and Im of the girl variety :confused:

I think it's funny and the jokes are good and interviews are entertaining :D
Also like it because of the gadgets :D Cars and tv's and new phones and apple products:D

Dunno why people were comparing FHM to porn. I have yet to see bare breasts in the mag. That's not to say I wouldn't welcome it :D

It's got a good amount of everything in it. Some sport but I just skip through that.

I await my next mag to come through the post!

Never really liked it, though admittedly I've probably only ever read half a dozen issues and not for a few years. Also, the Sun has pretty much all those things mentioned and yet it's still a horrible publication.

quite suprised you read it if you don't like all the above, although i agree with you on the indie music.... absolutely hate it, woeful crap.

afew months ago they made significant changes and they started offering really cheap subscriptions so people can see what its all about now

but IMO they 'new' FHM is crap and the older style one was much better

hardly enough girls in it now :(
 
about 5 years ago, well even 10 maxim and fhm actually did some real interviews, and some interesting topics for stories. now every interview is the same, what are you wearing, have you had a lesbo experience, blah blah blah. never remotely interesting, last time i picked up a copy of either it was about 1/4 of the length it was 5 years ago yet had more adverts which is just laughable.

The world topic stuff all goes about as deep as Jade Goodie gets, the fashion is pants, the gaming/dvd/computers/gadgets/film like all magazines is all info thats 2-6 months behind the times. LOADS of celebs, mostly women, refuse to do maxim/fhm anymore because half our what they say is misquoted and so years down the line all the interviews are generic and crap now. yes, semi useful for a train/car/plane journey to kill the time but wouldn't ever buy it anymore on a monthly basis.

Except for daily printed news which is up to date, obviously, all other printed media is virtually worthless. Pc format or gamer back in the day used to be semi interesting, but we can find game previews and hardware info so long before these mag's come out they are utterly pointless.

True dat. FHM seems to have new management and they've changed everything including fewer girlz. Why?! It is almost like they are trying to target female readers as well! It's For Him Magazine, not For Her Magazine! She can buy J-17 and Bliss and whatever else is for the girlies.

The only magazines I ever read are car/bike mags and the occasional science/technology mag. I just don't find FHM and other such mags that interesting or that entertaining or well written. I can see the appeal, it nearly works, but it's just not quite my cup of tea. Private eye on the other hand is sheer genius.
