I assume you're playing 10v10 with randoms. Nothing you can do but lead by example. Then you'll get the ball back quite often.
 
Ahh soz, thought you meant Club, yeah not much you can do other than do what Skip said. When Im playing Pro Club I get a fair few messages asking if Im in a Club - think it surprises people when you pass to them not because you are about to be tackled but because they are in a far better position...

Only problem is half the time they dont expect it and either miss or get tackled...

Least Pro Club is better than old 10v10...

Depends on what position you are playing. If your a striker then theres nothing you can do short of falling deep and grabbing it off your own team8. Remember you get some points for positional play as well. Ive rarely played a game where im not the top 3 if we've won the game.

Could always just quit the game and start another. Pro online is pretty quick getting going at matches now. Ive rarely come across a game where no-one passes to me. Matches i dont like though is where everyone bunches together racing after the ball like headless chickens. Or another pet peeve is the guy who goes ANY letting in shocking goals just messing about in the penalty box.

Its a crying shame you cant save online goals though. Scored a sheer beast of a volley from a corner cross around 25 yards out.

I haven't read the entire 23 pages but is there any chance of joining the club? I'm on every evening and I'm currently getting my pro up to a decent level. If you guys are taking anybody on then it might be worth letting me know which positions you really need so that I can train my VP accordingly?

I did go to send a transfer request but it says the club is not currently signing new players?

I think it was me who disabled the transfer requests. We sign rather than have people come to us. :p

We're playing tonight so add me or one of the other regulars (Post with details has been quoted a few times over the last page or two.)



Our latest newcomers have been better than normal. Usually when we get a few new faces, it takes them some time to adjust to the pace of Club and how you have little to no time on the ball, unless you're Beenom.

Need more than Getafe nomination :p. Unsure if Im on tonight - not feeling too great...

Also we might need to start considering how to deal with player numbers if we have loads on in one night - I personally dont think actual 10v10 works...

The way I see it is that interest will soon die down again, but we'll then have a good number of people who may pop up now and again for those times when we're struggling to get 4. :p

We've relied on the usual 5 for too long. :D
 
I suppose so, the proper team list Ive personally seen online and seem to be interested long term (in either a casual/regular role) are:

Furbs
Froomer

I might have missed some (only mentioned people Ive seen in the last month or so - I have reinvited the likes of topher, Saint etc too) but think thats the people who come to mind currently...

On the 360 the club I started had more than 50 members at one point. We just used to have about 5 or 6 of us in each game room, playing simultaneously and found that was the best way to keep everyone happy.
 
I think Im thankful the PS3 version hasnt been as popular for Club here than the X360 - 09 Club was pretty special and we have a very solid core that we brought to 10 Club. We really like to add to that core but going about it seems to be head-scratching, adding to what we have and not alienating new people because they dont think they fit in...

Very open to how we do this - Im just making the point visible if it deserves any discussion rather than ignore it and then have issues down the line...
