Fifa 10 Xbox360 team

Guys, those of you don't experience button lag what connection do you have to your router? Wired or wireless? I have wireless, router downstairs, full bar connection. Tried homeplug last night, same issues. Deffo seems to be the ISP I guess. 8mb just cannot cope
 
8mb Deutsche Telekom, wireless. I have played a few friendlies against friends and I dont get the delay. It just can't really cope with everyone I guess. It's not a gamebreaker but it can be annoying.

LOL what to do, which one of you would like someone who is rubbish at controlling 'any' player, whines when 'the worst goal i have ever seen' goes in and generally does bugger all apart from the same old gags ? Any takers ? :D

I have slight button lag (in terms of taking a split second longer than in sp) if thats what you mean.

Mine is a wired connection on BT (up to) 8Mb broadband running at about 6Mb. I would never (unless browsing the web) run any gaming machine on wireless, no matter how good its supposed to be. Im a bit anal when it comes to these things. Its wired for me unless it really would be impossible to run a line between the two.

And as for the question by Andy, I have an AOL 2MB ADSL connection, with a horrible old Netgear router plugged straight into the 360 with a cat cable. The connections are perfect, even with 10 vs 10. The only time I get a lot of lag is when we end up being matched up with Chinese gamers... Bleurgh.

Bloody hell, AOL! Do they still exist?! :D

Well I'll bring my 360 downstairs tonight maybe and try with a short cat5. I did do a wired connection before but the cable had to be 20mb to reach the room upstairs! Not so wise!

LOL! they do just about, I was going to switch to Sky but the Irish bloke on the phone was nice so I stayed with AOL. It's something silly like £3 a month.

But yeah, I don't have the best sync speed, and my router has been completely abused over the last 3 years since I've had it, but the connection in FIFA 90% of the time is fine for me. The only issues are when we're matched with those Chinese people. :)

I had 0.5mb AOL and apart from if someone was downloading it was hassle free gaming!

Now I'm on 8mb it's awful!

Put the 360 downstairs, 1mb cat5 cable, same issue
 
The past 2 or 3 nights there has been hardly anybody on. Compare this with about 4 or 5 nights ago when we had so many we had to split into 3 rooms. Is everyone just busy? Or has the FIFA craze just started to wear off on the majority now?

Answers on a postcard please. :)
