Next gen version can't come soon enough.. the more I read about how much better it is the more I just want to play it to see. This gen fifa is still funky at times.

I hate it when you're the last man chasing down an over the top through ball, and instead of controlling the ball you nudge it forward so the opposing teams striker can latch onto it. Anyone else have this happen? I feel a lot of time its the games fault I lose and not mine.

hit it first time, if there's a striker near you, get rid of it ASAP.

you never see vidic trying to control a ball and bring it down and turn a striker as he bears down on him.

when in doubt just smash it up the park.

i don't even bother trying to head towards the keeper anymore because sometimes they fall short or never work or i have even headed it over the keeper and he has had to run back and make a lunging save.

basically play it safe every time at the back.

Who wants to tell me how to keep the ball? Some matches my team have 0 space and all passing lanes are covered, and when opposition gets the ball it's like the exact opposite, so much space it's untrue. Does team pressing last all game when selected?

pass backwards, it doesn't always need to go forward. then ping pong pass it around quickly, until you get to someone with space, then things will open up from there.

everyone seems to be using high pressure and team pressing, etc online.

if you ping pong it around quickly to counter it, you will usually find yourself through on goal with an over the top ball, etc when you get to someone with time on the ball.

oh and 1-2's on the wings work amazing against this.

get the ball to your winger and then 1-2 it with the CAM or CDM.

as their full back rushes your winger, L1 pass it, the full back will run straight past the winger as he flies through the back line, quickly play a triangle pass or over the top through ball back to him and he is through on goal or cross to a striker.

Do you just play Balanced and Standard tactics wise Sonny or do you go for something like attacking and counterattack?

i leave it balanced to start off with and always standard.

if i am up against a tough opponent and i lose a goal or two i will go attacking (never ultra attacking unless it's the last 20-30 mins).

if i am up against a tough opponent and i score 2 goals, i will go defensive (never ultra defensive, unless it's the last 20-30 mins).

leave it on balanced if im up against a noob.

defensive and ultra defensive really help in the last 30 mins of a game against counter attacks and corner's where there keeper catches the ball and hoofs it up the park.

the amount of goals i have scored from another teams corner is hilarious, punting it up the park slightly in a direction (never straight) and my striker chases it down and finesses past the keeper, it's far too easy.
 
gonna add all you guys tonight when I get home.

I got two gold packs last night the EA season ticket pack and the pre-order pack (which I assume is the ultimate pack?)

Total rubbish in them a 75 and 78 rare which sell for 600 as throwaways will just use them then toss them.
 
Yay, my first rage-quitter for quite a few games. 4 1st half goals from Mandzukic was enough to send him over the edge. :D

Experimenting a bit with the tips, worked well that game at least, cheers.

Rakitic, Miranda and the Brazilian GK, could be worth buying for my teams.

Possibly Valbuena as well but he will be far too much i reckon.

So might miranda be with his pace and being a Brazilian CB in Liga BBVA.

He's one player who varies a lot throughout the year. He may go up this week actually as quite a few will be building brazil teams this week with all the IF's.

Stuck him up for sale with a BIN of 8.5k...if someone wants to take him for 3k over market value they're welcome to, otherwise I'll hold off on selling!
