I believe the stamina on the card is the percentage of the players stamina. For example James Morrison has 77 stamina, so on the card it will give you the percentage of 77 he has left? Or at least I always thought this was it.

that's the way i see it too

e.g. yaya toure, ramires, etc all have 90+ stamina.

other people are as low as 50 - 70.

if your card in game says 95% stamina

that means yaya would be 0.95 x 90+

whereas another player would be 0.95 x 50

the stamina drains quicker and the quicker it drains the more fatigue sets in, e.g. if you make a player sprint when he has full energy bar it has practically zero effect on him.

if the player has just ran the full length of the pitch (say from a counter attack or getting back into position from a corner or set piece) and then you make him sprint his stamina depletes right in front of your eyes, i mean you can lose as much as 10% of his in game stamina by making him sprint for a few seconds when he is tired.

that's why there are 2 stamina bars in game at the bottom of the screen, his overall stamina and his current energy levels.

i see since they have downgraded stamina a lot this year on player's that this will have a much bigger effect on the game.

it's a stat i will be using now to make choices for positions.

Still tore between going for a Serie A team or BPL (which I have never done)

well serie A has no decent LB's so either Criscito and italians around him or 3 atb formations or nothing.

good starting points are usually;

Ligue 1 and Russian League

you get pretty decent player's for cheap

i usually have many teams throughout the game at the same time and rotate them;

Brazil, Serie A, BPL and a Hybrid

but Liga BBVA may make a re-appearance this year as well as Ligue 1 as teams for keeping.

i'm not going to spend a penny on packs this year, i spent a little and then re-couped it through ebay, but with fifa cracking down on selling, there's no point in buying, it's all going down the drain that way (or into EA's pockets).

they are so greedy, without letting people buy coins they are effectively holding a monopoly of the coins within the game, meaning they make more money.

why PES can't just make a decent engine, with decent graphics and a similar UT system is a joke, they have had the best part of 5 year's now to catch up.

EA just seem to be making themselves stronger and stronger, and exploiting their fans more and more.

it's going to be a struggle this year, i hate trading, i know how to do it effectively but it's just so boring, i prefer just playing the game and making coins that way, with the league system and 5-10K bonuses it's actually easy to make some decent coins fast if your good at the game.

Agree'd, I did a lot of trading in FIFA 12 and by the time I got around to playing the game itself, a lot of the enjoyment had been sucked out of it by making small profits on cards or trading here and worrying about not selling etc etc.

Just gonna play UT, make a decent squad from coins from matches/leagues/cups etc.

Seems like the prices have rocketed in the marketplace. The 2 players I have had some success trading have shot up in price quite dramatically. Shame I sold all mine before they rose :)

I will be buying it on the 360 and I will be getting the XO version because it comes with my day one edition :)

So for those who are buying PS4 or X1. Are you getting it on PS3/360 then getting the other version or are you going to wait?

I will be buying it on the 360 then trading it in for PS4 version, will no doubt lose progress by switching from 360 > PS4 but that doesn't bother me.
