Well i got a 2.5k coins card, not bad at all.

I am doing a sub-par BPL 4-2-3-1 team to begin with. It's full of Newcastle, Southampton, Swansea, Sunderland and West Brom players. I fancy starting of small this season and seeing how it goes!

I think each player has cost me 350-500 each. Still can't work out what RB i want.

Ok so.. answer me this;
I intend to buy the Ultimate edition from Game (24 gold packs) for £60 next week... but when I come to trade it in for the PS4 version will I get the equivalent version for the PS4? I'm thinking there's not much point paying the extra for a nice steelbook if I don't get one back for the PS4...
 
My guess is you won't get a steelbook version of the PS4, unless you the pay extra for a UT version on PS4 which will be pointless as the UT code won't work since you have already used one on your account. That said I not seen anything to say that there is even a UT version for the PS4/XO. So I guess it depends how much you want a steelbook case :p

I got a silver pack for my daily gift. I also got my first season ticket pack which had Traore in it :)

Slowly getting more players for my Portugal league team. Going for 4231(2) only paid 350coins per player so far :) so its cheap and cheerful but should be good as a starter squad.

Labyad came with my starter pack so didn't pay for him. I was quite happy to get Eder for 350 coins though :) seems like he will be a really good striker.

Next purchases I think will be slightly more expensive. I want Fernando and Matic as CDM's then Sandro for LB and either Rojo or Maicon for the CB (Mangala is too expensive atm) then a keeper of some sort :p

I probably spent a couple of hundred last year, throughout the whole year, and kinda regret it. It's nice to have lots of coins and good players, but I don't feel the outlay was worth it. This year, assuming I even play UT (I always start with career mode), I highly doubt I'll spend any real money on it.
 
I prob spent about £50-60 last year on packs. But considering I played it pretty much all year long I think I got my money's worth although I did start to dislike it more and more as a I played :p

I'm hoping this year will be better, I quite enjoyed the 14 demo so will be interesting to see what the release ver is like. I think I will prob do the same spend about £50 ish on packs that will last me the year. I was thinking of just buying coins this year, but EA deffo seem to be clamping down on it quite a bit at the moment. Will wait for a month or so and see what the buying coins route is like. Hopefully EA will have eased off it a bit.
 
Didn't spent any money on packs ON 13. On 12 spent maybe £20-£30 and totally regretted it when I woke up the next morning ha. Will never do it again.

I'm new to Ultimate Team and whenever I played it on FIFA 14 I could never work out how to actually keep my players I got. I always seemed to only have them on contract for a few games. Was I doing it wrong? lol

the players stay with your club forever unless you discard or sell them.

you need to constantly buy contracts.

you also need to constantly rotate 2 teams in order to keep fitness high or buy fitness cards.

i suggest you buy 2 teams and rotate them (much cheaper in the long run).

i also suggest you try and buy as many gold managers as you can as quickly as you can, gold managers increase contracts.

so if you buy a 12 contract card your player will get like 18 contracts instead of 12 if you have 50% boost from having a load of gold managers.

iirx the highest boost was only like 30% so it's not as high as that but still you get the idea.
 
Probably should have put this in my question post earlier, last year, I spent about £100 in the first week trying to get an IF Suarez.

Never again.

And no, I didn't even get him :(
