first fifa demo for quite some time that i haven't actually liked :( just found it pretty sluggish, and thought the graphics were really blurry as well compared to 13.

i've preordered a ps4 mainly to play the future fifa games. Might have to reconsider!!
 
The Xbox version looks better than the PS3 version (the latter is blurry compared and less detailed). :(

The more I play it, the more I like it. Wasn't too sure at first.
 
One thing I'm finding and is limiting my ability to really assess how I feel about the game.
Is the fact that 3 minutes per half is just far too short for a demo.

I feel like I'm having to rush and not "Play my natural game" as the commentators say, whenever I feel like I'm starting to get into it or playing well either the first or second half ends :(. I like to play a possession game and it's just not possible.

Still not sure how I feel about the game.

I'm pretty much the same. The AI is still as stupid as ever at times (watching balls run by them etc), but I'm seeing much more intelligent use of space from my team mates than ever before. Runs from deep from midfield, intelligent overlapping from the full backs. I remember thinking the demos from previous years all felt a little weird at first after playing the previous game so much, and I always grew to enjoy the game, so I'm sure I will with Fifa 14 as well.

I very much agree, which is why I'll download it on PC tonight and grab the mod that extends the half length. It'll give me a proper chance to have a game without worrying about always running out of time.
 
It was really weird I was playing fifa 13 yday on UT. Then went back to play some fifa 14 and yea the pace thing has deffo been hit hard I was playing like I was in fifa 13 the first couple of games and just kept losing the ball due to spiriting to much and losing control. After that I got used to it and was not so "trigger happy" and I have to say I really do prefer it. Sure it slows the game down a bit but it really does make for a good football game. Also defending seems to be a bit better actually requires some thought rather than just holding the A button.

I'm quite looking forward to getting the full game of this. I just hope they don't change too much on the release. Although finesse does need toning down !
 
Had a quick go of the demo last night on ps3... not sure what to make of it.
It's a bit sluggish but the dribbling and close control turns and runs are brilliant!
 
Played about 6 games now and I really like it.

I chose "Football games are my passion" at the start so I think I am on World Class?

Finding it hard to score goals but that imo is better, certainly makes you think about where your passes go and when to shoot.

In Fifa 13 I would just kick and rush for the whole game, knowing I could chase after the ball if I lost it and win it back with any of Ramires or Toure etc.
 
It's not harder to score when you get in a decent position, it's getting into that position that is harder. I've noticed like 13 you start to know where to shoot from and not much has changed in 14 from 13 in that aspect.
