I think the number of free packs is based on how long you've played UT, same with any start of the web app. Not 100% sure though. I got 2 small gold packs with a rare in each and 2 player packs which were a mixture of bronze, silver and 1 gold player.
 
meh I've been with UT since 2012 I got no free packs :( expect a promo bronze pack.

Can you buy packs with fifa points yet ? or is that blocked until release.
 
I didnt get any free packs either and Ive been playing FUT from the start :confused:. Got some last year...

EDIT: Tell a lie, free packs in the store - got PSG Lucas :)

LAME ! :p owell I will make do with the daily gifts, assuming they still dish out daily gifts like last year.

What formation is people looking to use this year ? I'm quite fond of the 4231(2) with the LM and RM instead of CAM's.

doh my PS3 persona was the one registered since 2012 not my xbox live one. Got my gold packs for my PSN though. Best I got was Bent at Fulham, Rodriguez at Altetico and Konko at Lazio oh and a 2000 coins. Shame I'm getting fifa on xbox this year :(

Lol I was waiting for someone to say that :p I'm going to have a think about it and give the ps3 demo a go.
 
Anyon noticed some players you get cant be traded? Not sure if those are ones from daily gifts or from the returnee packs you get...

Assume its a bug as I can put up Lucas but cant put up Nagatomo

Contents of starter packs are untradeable, contents of loyalty packs are tradeable as per norm
 
Trying to work out where I got Nagatomo and why hes not tradeable then - guessing daily packs arent tradeable as Lucas was from a loyalty/returnee pack...

EDIT: Just realised that they are worthless to discard aswell :eek:

Ah ta, I didnt realise as opened all the packs and assumed you still got a bronze only team. Im guessing there were people that were making multiple new teams in the hope they landed some expensive bronze player in previous FUTs? Only reasoning I can think of for untradeable cards!
