250 coins was all I got, though that's still better than a mini bronze pack. I'm quite happy with the team I'll be starting with so unless I get anyone amazing through pure luck I doubt I'll do any trading between now and when I start playing.

I think the chemistry cards will just act an economy sink like the formation cards, however be much less annoying as players will still perform well even if they don't have the chemistry style that suits you best.

what is everyone making of these new chem cards good idea or bad idea certain ones increase 2 aspects of a players stats so a bit like the boost card.

i can see the finisher one going for a lot

list here of whats what and what it will add

http://www.futhead.com/14/consumables/chemistrystyles/

they don't work like i assumed they would do.

i thought they would add +3 or +2 to a person's card.

but in actual fact the player's start with +1 boost on everything with 10 chemistry.

so you get a +2 boost on 2 things but a -1 loss on 4 things.

or you get a +1 boost on 3 things and a -1 loss on 3 things.

cards could turn out to be worthless in that case, as you lose as much as you gain.

unless of course you buy a player to do a very specific job like a winger, then you would take the hit on their defence, heading and shooting, to boost their pace, dribbling and passing further.

tbh your probably better off buying better players with better stats than boosting certains ones and losing on others.

Do you have any source that says you lose stats with the chemistry cards, as that's the first I've heard of it.

So happy they've ditched formation cards/preferred formations. Buying a team only to find out that the formation doesn't suit you was a pain in the neck, one of my least favourite things about UT previously.

Yeah, I'm very happy about that, it'll mean I'm more likely to try out different formations when I know I don't have to buy a crapload of formation cards/new players and then find out I don't like it.

Yup same here, hated having to sell a whole team or buy formation changing cards every time you wanted to try something new.
