Yea I said at work this year I'm going to limit myself to £15.99 of points on this...

Spent £100 +/- on the xbox version
Spent £400 +/- on the PS4 version -.-

Yup, I can't justify spending more than the odd tenner every few weeks on packs now when I think about how worthless most of the stuff is you get compared to pack opening at release.

It was so good, no rare gold was discard value and many non rares sold for a few thousand. I got an absolute ton of players who sold for 10-20k then that now sell for 1k or less.

I'll be honest, I can see the temptation in buying coins because of how cheap they are. I'd just be too scared of getting banned :D

I think EA need to rethink the packs for next year, the way it is at the moment just promotes coinselling, the amount of people who go through 12k points and get nothing of worth is just crazy and puts people off buying points when they can spend that £80 on 1-2 million coins and build an awesome team. Banning people isn't the solution as it will never be fully controllable the amount of coins being bought every hour.

Yeah I made a fortune in packs at the beginning. Players like Paulinho going for 15k... My Robben went for 400k and that set up my trading cycles on Bundes players. Pro tip: which ever league is currently the fad league prices will hike massively before settling. I made well over a mill in trade profit doing that.

My other pro tip I'm keeping close to my chest. 50% profit on 30k+ items though. Tested all the way up to 200k items. :)

They do and have banned for coin buying. I think it's just a big token gesture once a year though. It's out of control really and they probably don't have the will to go after it. Especially when it could harm their profits in the short to medium term.

Care to share, some extra cash would be welcome

The whole Pele thing made me spend a fair bit of time on the EA Forums and it really bought to the forefront how big of a issue coin selling is.

Users are exploiting glitches to generate millions and millions of coins per day, these coins are then being supplied to coin sellers, people think getting rid of coin sellers will resolve the issue. It won't. it is sad to say coin selling is now a business and it will not and cannot be stopped.

Someone suggested that EA Sell coins via the webapp in FUT15, it makes sense but i don't think EA will adopt that strategy.

I don't get it, I've seen it a few times now. Lets say IF Aguerro, the other day when I was watching it, it was selling for like 1.8 mil BIN. So there were bids of 1.4 mil... last 30 seconds bids galore comes in and then next second it's up to 2.4 mil, saw it happen with him twice and a few other 1 mil + cards.

People bid bumping their own cards from another account.

EA won't adopt that because it would simply reduce the amount of packs being bought, coin buying seems the way forward now, I'm tempted myself simply because I've spent well over £150 on packs and the best player I've pulled to date is Rooney 50k coins. Most players these days are discards consumables aren't worth enough and discarding packs doesn't bag you enough either they've dropped the discard price compared to last year on consumables etc. You can easily get 100k coins for £6 of it wasn't for the fact of enjoying opening packs I would have bought coins already but it seems there's just no value in packs and coin buying is extremely difficult to catch due to the masses doing it, every Fifa youtuber promotes a coin selling service there's millions that Watch them and then there's eBay aswell. I guess you could always argue the case of "my friend gave me the coins" if it ever came to that but I'm pretty sure the coin buyers won't be caught or 95% of.

If someone accidentally bids 1000 over the bumped price... :)

it's disgusting though
Ok I think I get it, like when the bidding war starts and you just keep mashing bid, you're hoping someone accidentally bids, makes sense.

I struggle to deal with pace teams I've learnt :( Are they expensive? Could be that I'm just bad and tackle too early with them but still!
