Are we looking at the same card? A player of his calibre to not have any card stats over 90 is a joke. Just confirms that those Canadians don't even watch football.

I guess we'll see how he plays in game though.

Anyone noticed a bug in career mode when buying players?

If you make a bid for a player and the team turns you down saying something like they need more ££ make another bid. I went back in to changed the transfer offer but instead I switched it to a season long loan.

They then accepted it but they accepted it as a transfer not a loan, then I got the contract offer sorted and the transfer wen;t through for nothing just his wages.

managed to do this twice last night.
 
Decided to have a sneaky match while stopping for lunch.

I'm confirmed back in div 2 again. If I win my last match I will also win the title.

I put busquets back in the team at cdm and he just doesn't break up the play like mascherano although the extra height is handy.

I might keep an eye out for Suarez hitting the packs although I will get murdered if I buy more points so I will just need to save I guess.

Does anyone have dani Alves this year ? I'm using Marcos at rb just now and I also have juanfran as backup. I thought juanfran would be first choice out the two but Marcos has been excellent.
 
In order "danger" from opponents using these players against me, I'd put it a bit like this:

1) Ronaldo (yea he's been great in other years but if your opponent is good, he's utterly unstoppable this year when you play against him. He's playing at ST too mostly on 7 chem and it seems to make no difference to his speed/turning/agility/shooting etc).
2) Bale (in the right hands, he seems the most manoeuvrable player this year. He has pace like absolutely nobody else I've seen on the game too once he gets going.
3) Messi. Yea seriously, I've laughed at his pathetic hobbitness (yep , thats a word! :D) and lack of actual real pace in the past few fifa's but he's pretty crazy this year. He seems like a better version of aguero when I've played against him.
4) Robben, kind of like a toned down version of Bale but still insanely good in the right hands.
5) Neymar, he seems to have great speed/turning and one hell of a shot on him?!? So many times i've seen him smash it in the top corner from the edge of the area on either foot the split second the ball got to him.

So, yea...the list is obvious :p pace pace pace pace! In the higher divisions you rarely see Ibarbo anymore with his 66 finishing, it often feels like practically every oppponent has one or more of these above and in a way I'm quite happy about this, as its further suggestion that "scripting" is no biggy this year. However, I still feel something odd goes on with silver teams!

Most of the people on this list, if 1on1, will continue to pull away from your average 75 pace CB even when dribbling with the ball without knocking it ahead. Theres just no catching them.

Are you sure you haven't just paid a huge fee as part of a loan deal? I assume you've checked the player's contract etc and he's showing up as a permanent signing?

Yep perm signing both showing as 4 year contracts. No money's been taken as I only had 3 million and they wanted 9.
 
Wouldn't bother, seen reports on the official forum of people being reset without even a warning when buying over a certain amount.

I haven't even got the urge to spend anything on the game this year, newest update actually seems to have made it worse and the servers seemed awful again when I tried FUT this morning, getting red cards for challenges that would have been on time if it wasn't for the stupid out of sync delays in some matches.
 
It's a silly process anyway to be fair, it should have just been an outright ban/reset for buying or selling. Daft how someone could say buy 15 million one time and just get a warning yet people buying 100k twice could get a reset.
