what the hell! started getting players randomly running in the completely wrong direction leaving massive gaps in my defence....doesnt happen often but several times the just ran off leaving people through on goal......

Depends on your style of play to be honest. I have done just fine using Iniesta - xavi - Fabregas as my 3 mids in 433. I find players with high physical to be clumsy at times.

Lag when taking a penalty RAGING!
I like a good mixture like in a middle 3 I would have one 'defender' like Tiote, one box-to-box, Ramires, and then one ball-player.
The dream is, of course, when you can have everything - Yaya / Marchisio / Vidal.
I'm on a bit of a scintillating run of wins at the moment, I get no where near the amount of goals as I did in 14 with my wingers but they cause so many issues that as long as they are setting up Aguero and Ibarbo (separate teams) I don't mind.
I find it hard not to win with Ibarbo/Aguero as ST
Handicap/Momentum innit
What wingers are you using with Aguero?

Wish I could get on with 433 variants , I'm playing the 41212 CM version which seems to do the trick. Although with Aguero , Suarez , Robben and Ibra I'd be worried if I wasn't winning!
Andy don't you find the wingers don't get involved at all? For me they just stood there looking gormless!
Had this the other day in the 90th minute needed for promotion.. yes i missed couldn't get the bar to stop in the middle due to lag and it flew over the bar i felt like smashing it.
I think players runs in general are not what they were on 14, I don't think they're wasted as they're my focal point in the team, having said that I mostly play counter attacking football so getting the ball to them as quickly as possible so it's not really noticeable for me!
I've found this to be true also. You need at least one midfielder who has high defensive workrate and good tackling, as well as pace and stamina.
You don't NEED pace in a midfield three but it does help
I play patient passing football so med/med is ideal for my midfield, anything more adventurous and they make daft runs
I like one strong player and two playmakers
I currently use Strootman with Lodi and Montolivo in a very effective 4312 and Iborra with Benat and Granero in a Spain 433(5)
I'm starting to not like the 433 variants as the wingers are often useless

I'm using 433 and my wingers are easily my most useful players. I like to pass it around a lot and find that they're usually available. They also have the bonus of being excellent for quick counters.
Any opinions on the best Serie A goalkeeper? Just bought Handanovic but not tried him yet. I've had De Sanctis up until now and he's been great, other than the odd dodgy moment when he decides to come out and dive on the ball but miss it completely!
Also, is Sirigu worth the coins? He's a bit more expensive than the Serie A guys.
