When the official team of the year is released by Fifa, EA release the team over three weeks into UT (Defenders and GK one week, Midfield then next then Strikers in the last week) and they are the highest rated cards throughout the year. For example, Messi and Ronaldo will get 98 rated cards, Ibra will get a 96, Ramos a 93 etc.

They also have special packs throughout this period and people go mental in buying packs because the players are worth millions each.
 
when is TOTY actually 'revealed' and released then? Won't be piling money into packs, but am interested in players ratings. I certainly hope Ronaldo has a higher rating than Messi this year.

Gotcha. So you buy TOTY packs and there may be 1 player from that team (reserve or sub or something?) and obviously the rare chance to get one of the big names? Or are they just in normal Gold packs?

No they will release jumbo gold packs, all player packs etc etc not packs that contain legends in particular they will just come out of packs like normal informs do pure luck.
 
Basically, there is more chance winning the lotto than getting a Ronaldo/Messi TOTY card.

Just get ready for the market crash. Though this has been the worse year for crashes (there hasn't been any when they should have been)
 
Check out this complete BS last night. I was only 1-0 down at the time, then I get a straight red for this tackle, and he scored from the free kick (no idea what Courtois was doing!)

I did however get this penalty in another game, which I thought was quite funny. Balotelli completely misses the ball and kicks the keeper instead, then goes down for the penalty.

Enjoying seasons so much more than UT this year, cheaper too!! :D

UT feels way too arcade this time, I keep trying to get into it, but its like seasons on ice :eek:
 
I've only dabbled in Seasons this year, maybe I'll play a few more games of it. I quite like picking 3 star teams in Seasons as I find the games much more enjoyable when it's average teams playing each other.
