FIFA 15

Meh, haven't found my success rate differs that much by formation really. As long it has:

4 at back
3 in central midfield

it's fine for me (ie. 4231, 433, 4312, 4141, 4411 have all worked about as well as each other)

Prices fluctuate all the time. Ronaldo was 2.4m once and then within 2 weeks he rose by a million.

So infuriating when opponents go one goal up and it's around the 70th min and they start passing it between the defenders. Where's the fun in that? Last 5 mins or so I understand, but 70th minute...**** off!

Aye you had a couple of decent chances. Neuer is obviously pretty good though so bails me out on occasion. I started to 'warm up' a bit later on in the game and getting some dribbling going.

Pige was on the sharp end of it just after you

I don't know how you stayed calm after Robben scored a header at a corner. That's just so ludicrously unlikely that I would have been seething had it happened to me.

Oh and for the Robben vs Bale argument.

Robben is now above 2 goals a game for me. He is probably the best player I've used since CR7 at LF in a 5221 in FIFA 13.

Is that a special Robben (TOTY, IF, SIF, etc) or just bog standard Robben?

He hasn't been overly effective for me - don't get me wrong he does well enough playing out on the wing, but I find his poor weak foot too much of a hinderance.

It may of course be because I'm spectacularly bad at the game.

Standard one. The high rated in forms aren't usually worth the pain as the stats on the NIF are high enough.

He is one footed but I don't find that a problem and as he's a RW for me I don't really use his right foot at all for anything. It's good enough for a rebound tap in though

It can be quite easy to defend against a one footed player though if you're not that great at dribbling. Don't know if you are or not but it definitely helps being able to readily beat a man because once you do the panic starts and then you can just wiggle your way through with him when the covering defender rushes over.

I only play for fun but I guess their stats are the only thing they have in their sad little lives

i've been using 4-1-2-1-2 in pretty much every team since i started. I don't even nearly begin to utilise wingers and wide midfielders as much as they could be. Prefer to play through the centre. Got into div 3 again now so we'll see how it goes

They issue new cards into the market, yours stay the same. But any IFs get upgraded too.

I've noticed this too about Robben (albeit NIF). His left foot is fantastic and although he has the 'Avoids Using Weaker Foot' trait, shots that are from his right are pretty poor.

I use him as an RF in the RF position of a 4321 and he gets plenty of goals and assists but sometimes he doesn't get forward enough.

The worst case of FIFA rage I've ever had was in FIFA 13. Someone went 1-0 up within 10 minutes, and then passed it around the back four for the rest of the game. I just couldn't do anything to get the ball off him. I was absolutely fuming. I'm not proud of it but it made me snap at my girlfriend about something and we ended up having a massive argument. It was absolutely ridiculous how annoyed it made me. I've calmed down a lot these days but I do have the odd occassion where I just cannot believe how BS something is in game.
