FIFA 15

Your spreadsheet is wrong I think mate. You get taxed on the sell price of the card not the profit. It should be:

0.95 * sell price - buy price as your profit

so: 0.95 * 1500 - 1400 = 25 coin profit not the 95 you have :p.

Haha, oh dear, I'm such a muppet. I'm glad you pointed that out though! Looks like I'm terrible at maths and trading, maybe I should stick to just playing the game!

So this 12k on india store is that MS points? So you buy 12000 ms points then convert to fifa points?

No its 12k actual FIFA points , you don't pay by microsoft gift card or anything , i have money in my microsoft account but i had to pay for the fifa points by credit card.

Cheers, so I make sure I do it right later...

I follow steps on the HOTUKDEALS page but instead of buying the game (already have it) I load it up (when on India locale) and go to the store withing fifa and buy?

**** happens :D!

Trading is either one of things you enjoy or you don't really. I find it tedious as hell but a necessary evil if you want to get the higher end players. I normally get a good bulk of coins at the start then trade on in forms every Wednesday. I made millions doing this last year. Probably about 4m profit in total before I spunked it all on Ibra and Ronaldo. Then I got bored and stopped.

IF Modric was my best one - was making 40-50k profit per card on him and sold about 30 of them on before the card supply started outstripping my coin holdings so was difficult to keep on top of it. I ended up losing coins on the last 5 cards I had but the profit I made on the other ones more than made up for it.

Yes , change your xbox location to india ( you can leave language at english ) and reboot . Load fifa 15 and go store and click to buy fifa points , the points should be in Indian currency , select your package , you have to give an india address ( i used a hotel ) and enter your card payment details. Worked for me anyway.

Cheers mate, all clear!

No problem , good luck !

Does anyone know when current totw players stop being seeded?

Im sure i read once it was between 12 - 6 but i really want to use up my points if there is a chance of IF Costa , however i don't want to waste them if i have no chance of getting him now.

Anyone tried listing a player and an error says "this item cannot be listed for transfer" ?

I think its intentional for now, maybe to stop people getting too much of a headstart, and also most downtime used to be at launch when you'd go to trade there would be 2million+ items and it would constantly keep falling over.

Got my first 2 teams sorted, might make a few more tonight so I have 4, might try out IF Kagawa actually.

To add to this question, when does the next lot of TOTW players get announced/released?

Bugger, if that's the case I need more coins to get these IF players before the prices rise. Or does this always happen? Do IF players just slowly rise in price all the time? Or is it just because we're at the start of 15?

Depends on a few things:

- desirability
- how many in forms they have
- the health of the market in general

Generally week 1 TOTW players go up a fair bit - others can do as well but at a slower rate. It all comes down to the player themselves really and how much they're wanted by other players. Demand for a card increases the price.

But if a player in week 1 TOTW gets a second in form then expect prices to plummet for the week 1 TOTW version.

Ok cool. I wish I'd bought some FIFA points when I got home for lunch now, I could have bought some packs in the hopes of getting an IF when they're released tonight.

I have a few more questions, even though I've played FUT for the past couple of years I've never really been clued up on stuff.

So, I bought Wolfsburg's LB, Rodriguez for about 2,600 a few days back for my Bundesliga team. Now it looks like he might get an IF as he scored twice and got an assist in the last game. Now he is going for over 5k.

Is this common? If I'm keep an eye on a game and someone has a stand out performance in real life, is it worth buying up a few of their cards in the hope that their price will rise in game? Does it always happen, or does it depend on the player?

Will the price drop again once the IF is out, or has been out for a few weeks?

Just trying to get a sense for common things that happen in the market :)

It is heavily dependent on the player but yeah that generally happens but you have to hope that demand for the card at the 'new' price point remains high enough that you can sell them on for a profit. If a player is discard value then his non in-form value is unlikely to increase THAT much once he gets his IF.

In the last Fifa I made a lot of money buying the non-if versions of players who were coming out in the new totw. I guess people who can't afford the totw version then fancy trying the normal version if he is playing well
