FIFA 15

Doesn't he do that in real life too? :p

I like the dribbling system and skills, feels more fluid and accurate.

The random shot system, well... Seems only finesse shots are the way to go from now on, can score from anywhere with them! Especially with Toure, Ramsey, Iniesta and Hazard.

From my 6 hours playing this is a huge improvement over 14. Although only time will tell once the masses have been let loose onto FUT and servers come crashing down and lag switchers start poping up....

Still I like that the dribbling feels far more accurate and first touch doesnt always feel like turning a bus.

I've got £50 of gift cards that I'm finally going to spend today on Fifa! The question is, should I go for the normal or ultimate team edition?

I've never owned a previous FIFA before, so is UT something that you'd recommend I get involved in? I haven't any clue of what it's about really.. Thanks.

Played a few pro club games last night gotta say it felt loads better over 14, gone away was the one sidedness that usually happens and it felt quite equal.

I think it's a great mode, it's almost all I play now! You don't NEED the UT edition to play it though, in fact I won't be buying that edition.

Does anyone know the super market offers? I know Sainsbury's is £35 on Xbox One if you spend £30 on shopping but wondered if anyone knows what else there is?

FUT is pretty much all I play, it's well worth checking out.

Maybe give the Ultimate Edition a miss if you're not sure if you'll like it or not, but if you are going to play it all year, then it is definitely worth it. You'll get 40 gold packs throughout the year (one a week), which is always nice, and it helps keep you topped up with contracts and fitness cards. If you're going to buy some packs anyway then you will be saving money by getting the Ultimate Edition.

Thanks guys - I'm going to buy at lunchtime, hopefully the Glasgow branches will still have some stock. I'll google ultimate team mode to get what it's about...sounds like a multiplayer team building thing that rewards you with cool players as you win matches, or you can spend money to boost yourself (a bit like Hearthstone).. If I get into the multiplayer that could interest me!

I think it's far too early on to slate the game, from what I have seen so far this time it is completely different (on PS4). It's as if they are finally using the new engine and it's been completely re-made from the ground up. The physics, the way the players slide tackle, everything is different.

Slide tackling for instance is a lot harder, there is a lot less control on the ball, it's harder to score inside the area now. Finesse shots are now very realistic, I scored with one outside the box with Suarez but it wasn't a top corner like every finesse shot you took in every previous fifa, it was simply very well placed to the right side of the keeper and he couldn't get over in time.

It does seem easier to get past players though and tear people apart but scoring is harder so it evens out. I think keepers need to be made better in terms of parrying though.

G force has been selling it early like it does every year, they want £50 though for the normal version. People have had the game for well over a day now and bought it from there.

Ah yes good old GForce! Good to see an independent store on the high street but their prices can be excessive at times. So it's £48 for normal or £58 for ultimate edition from Game..decisions decisions!

I really want someone who is high enough level to gift me the massive afro from the catalogue. Is anyone high enough level and friends with me on Xbox? I'll gift something in return.
