What do you mean by cross spamming? Do you get scored against a lot from corners/crosses?

He's probably talking about lone midget strikers out jumping your entire defensive line or your CBs just refusing to mark the only player in the box, or refusing to jump, or just refusing to pretty much do anything of any value.

The game is badly coded.
First of all CB's don't mark people properly at corners, sometime I find my CB's are on the edge of the box or outside the box instead of around the 6 yard box.
Why can't they get this right? All defensive players should be marking the opposing teams biggest threats (players nearest the 6 yard box) instead of marking no-one and hanging about on the edge/outside of the box.
That's the biggest glaring issue for me, if they cannot get something simple as that right then what's the chances of them getting all the other stuff right.
This has been in all previous versions of fifa too for the past few years. So it's not a new issue, CB's, CDM's, RB's and LB's should all be inside the box near the 6 yard box.
Sometimes I win the ball and pass to Chiellini on the edge of the box who then passes to my RB who is the furthest man forward.
It's as if positioning is completely random when defending corners.
So guys who are 6'4 (the opposing team) are being pitted up against midgets and/or non defensively minded players inside the box.
It is completely broke, only a few people are that good they can work around it. I know 1 person and that's my mate who is just a pure genius on it. Something like 150 wins to 10 losses he has got, won division one with a 10k team.

God not another UT season
thats the other thing, I hate FUT, and seeing as its basically the main fifa mode now I've lost my love for fifa since it was introduced in fifa 10.
I know there are other game modes etc, and I can still play seasons. But its annoying, and yes, its the blooming defenders against crosses into the box that annoy me.
My PS3 died and I've not really got a desire to get any other console aside from the Wii U at the moment, which I doubt it will be released on. If it ends up being a really good Fifa I'll upgrade my PC's GPU and play it on that, but if not then I won't feel like I'm missing out.
The amount of hours I've sunk into it over the last two years is a little bit sickening.

I ended up hating Fifa 14 that much I went back to 13' after a couple of months.
Will give this a go if I can get it for around £25 on release as I'm sure I'll be able to trade it in for £20+ if it ends up being rubbish again.
14' was just far too slow for my liking and the cross spamming.

Too slow? I've heard people complain that it's too fast! Especially on FUT.
There are people who cross spam but you can defend that and those people can be avoided. There is a good crowd on here that play the right way. Get involved with us next time
jockey with who? You don't have control of the CB and, unfortunately, they just seem to have utterly retarded positioning in the box where they just don't get goalside or remotely close to a striker, it's bizarre and extremely annoying.

I dunno why people are complaining about crosses. I don't tend to concede many goals from the wing/corners and when I do it's just part of the game.
I wasn't a huge fan of '14 but I'm never a fan of the game for a few months till you get used to it and then it becomes the best one yet.
We say this every year but they really need to add the indoor arena again from '98 and play 5/7 a side. I know that is the main focus of Fifa Street but that game sucks

Thought you had a PS4? or did I play you on PS3?
The PC market is crap and so are the players. I would personally wait until it's release and then get a PS4. It's a simply brilliant games machine with lots of free games and got a large following on here.
They don't even bother fighting for the ball sometimes and let opposing strikers just jump in front of them. Sometimes they don't even bother tracking players ans just let them go right ahead.
I think the best solution is to have 2 CB's who are 6'4 or taller with above 70 pace as well as 2 tall full backs.
After that it's just praying for the game not to screw you like EA do every year.

Will never do that because as you say no need to when they can milk another £40+ out of you by selling you fifa street

After going back and playing a few games of 13' it just felt a lot quicker and more fluid (may be my playing style being more suitable too maybe?) than 14' does to me now.
As much as I'm happy with 13' for now I'll be getting 15', will become part of the crowd on here in terms of playing once I do as well. Depending on which consoles people ending playing on.
Nah, we played on the PS3. Old school!
I'll get a PS4 eventually, but I'm in no real rush to do so to be honest. Might do it for Fifa 16.
