FIFA 15

Keepers are far too tough to beat in 1v1 situations, in FIFA 14 a power or finesse flies in, nevermind with players such as Messi or Ibra and on this it feels like shooting is on manual and the keeper parrys every shot no matter the angle or type, frustrating.

Pre-loading, good, no disk good good, works out at around £53 with EA Access, which is the same as ShopTo, so I'm just going with digital.

It isn't that hard, you can't score as easy as 14 though and i quite like that. It was super easy to score in that game, that and the kick of glitch and the cross spamming is what stopped me playing it.

I think once you get used to it, then it'll be easier scoring so i wouldn't worry to much there.

Easiest way to score 1v1 in my opinion is to just use a weak finesse shot to curl it round the keeper. They save laces shots most of the time if you're inside the box, unless you absolutely hammer it into one of the corners.

I've seen the game stutter, but it's smooth for 99% of the time. Should be fixed for release - or by a day one patch. ;)

This isn't a slight stutter this is complete utter stutter fest from menus until game.... disconnecting from network resolves.....

weird how its only affecting some!

FUT cards is for Ultimate Team and they are players you collect to build a team up - if you go into the Demo it explains about them and chemistry etc.

Cons:

Goalkeepers are not from this world
Something that frustrated us was the amount of times we were denied in front of the goal, no matter how good the build-up or the shot. Scoring a goal is pretty difficult in FIFA 15 and the goalkeepers are brilliant, to the point that it hurts. Granted the keepers in the game are more realistic with new movements and diving techniques, it’s still frustrating when you just can’t seem to find the back of the net.

Shooting is tougher
Compared to previous games, shooting is much harder. The accuracy and precision of your shot is harder to line up than before, with long shots flying wide from the posts. Even the higher rated players have a tough time, hitting it straight. However, more time with the game could correct this.

Scripted play
As hard as it is to believe, the game feels scripted when you keep winning and losing in patterns. During certain phases of the game, you end up on winning streaks, defeating one team after the other and sometimes, even with the best team, it’s hard to get a win.

Played a few games last night, spotted a good few glitches. On one occasion, I was going to to tackle and my player was shaking/glitching behind the other player. Another one which was strange, the opposite side had the ball, had them in the corner trying to take it off him, and could not take it for the life of me. The player seemed to be stuck in a defending animation, I slide tackled him hard, they got a free kick, and it happened again the exact same.

Another thing aswell, the graphics are nothing special, really jagged and almost rushed player models. Hopefully its a lot better on launch and the demo is an old build.

Other than that, the game plays quite nice.

Regards the one on one goalkeeping issues I've found that, where possible, running at an angle and using the dink-lob shot usually get's the job done!

I do agree though, the keepers do seem ridiculously good against regular shots - they even easily hold balls that would have been parried or tipped over in 14!

Agree with this. It was far too easy to score in FIFA 14, particularly 1v1 as a finesse shot = goal 9/10 times.

I'm glad they've changed the shooting so it's not given that you'll score the majority of the time. Seems like they've further emphasised the effect of positioning/balance on shots.
