In divisions, you will be matched against people in the same division as you. At the minute, you will be getting matched with people who have just bought packs and made a great team without actually having played much.
 
urgh, I knew I wouldn't like FUT. Its like paying a free to play game with in app purchases.

Seriously how unfit are these guys? I can understand the grind to get better players but all these contract and fitness cards are killing any potential savings I may have.

Back to standard seasons I go, really frustrating that its so meh if you refuse to pay more

But its part and parcel of the game. Its building your own team and playing other online players rather than using the bog standard teams. I actually get more enjoyment building hybrid teams and trying them out. I see it as a mix of Fifa and Football Manager :D

Ok, so does that mean it''s just based on division and nothing to do with the team's rating??

i pretty much knew this would be asked as soon as I posted the digital prices.

digital has always been more expensive on consoles and considerably so, either pay it or buy retail.

if you want an explanation write a letter to whoever is in charge of PSN.

it's based on skill level (division). all the crap players in division 10, all the top players in division 1.

the longer the game is out for the more even the spread is.

so it's based on how good you are at the game now how good your team is.
 
I've just got 700 coins from playing online and leaving the guy to play whilst I did some ironing. He won 7-0 (which was quite disappointing really thinking about it!)

I imagine he gave up scoring as to stop wasting more time than you'd already wasted for him.

People like that infuriate me, either quit the game or don't bother playing at all.

It was an experiment, I totally acknowledge how annoying it must have been, but I wanted to see how much my "skill" would add to the basic coins I got. Unless I win 5-0 everytime, not much is basically the answer.

Just rocked up for my first online game in division 10 vs a team full of 80+ golds, no point even trying. :(

I'm likely to have a team of 80+ rated golds if and when I play online and I'm utterly **** at FIFA!!!!! :D

I'd have at least played the first half - 15-nil down at that point then yeah, I might have gone and done some ironing!!!
