Defending is terrible, if you rush a keeper out and he doesn't get to the ball first, it's an insta goal if the other person knows how to place a shot.

They need to make players auto tackle again, all you need is a pacey player to run past everyone without them doing anything.

Yep I played earlier vs bony and lukaku...so much strength and they didn't feel slow at all either...I just couldn't deal with them.

Or...we will just have to relearn how to defend again? Pressing a button down to defend perfectly feels so retarded too tbh :(
 
Played a single game, UT responded by DC and I didn't get a reward :(. Worst part is my team are all registered as playing a single game...ahh well hopefully tomorrow its a little better.
 
It's bad but not surprising that an EA game launch doesn't go smoothly. I played offline all day - my blood pressure couldn't handle winning then getting a DNF.
 
Bought it for PC and it's been decent so far. Not perfect, but it's enjoyable to say the least. It's quite evident that it's not really a finished game but oh well.
 
Not sure I should really do day 1 late night squad building, but made this for tomorrow!

Best way I found with his strength, hi & Costa is to get a fullback on them, at least slow them up a bit for a CB double team, although I need to try Lukaku, will be nice with Eto'o when I make an Everton team, which I finally can ths year with us having a decent lineup, 7 chem McGeady LM will do me!

Best way to play fut is to try to buy a player a season, after a few solid days play you'll have a good team. I wasted loads of cash on fifa points on 13, never again...
 
Played a game before, I went 4-1 down to somebody who was just spamming lobbed throughballs and fouling, I then remembered the proverb somebody told me once; "winning at games is 70% mental" so I forgot the intense feeling of victimisation and stormed back to win 6-5 lol.
 
Lol at the last couple of posts about wasting money on packs... Doesn't put my confidence up when I am abouts to open £100 worth :p

Bet anyone £100 that I don't get any of very top players.

Players that will make me jizz: Bale, ronaldo, Ibra, IF Neymar and I suppose messi. Doubt I'll see even a Balo though :(
