I accidentally bought Ibra. Let's see if he is still the fifa God.

Bale is the best winger I have used. Found him to play better with only 3 Chem, rather than full.
 
I prefer Bale to Robben as well.

Ibra without running scoop just won't be the same. He'll still be good with certain playstyles though.
 
Ibra Has scored 5 goals in 2 games but i got destroyed the second time round with the team i built around him. (built a brazil/serie A squad around him).
 
I wonder how much this patch has to do with my current form, it seems a lot of people are disgruntled with how it's changed the game and it's basically a game of lobbed through balls like 14 again.

but it was a game of lobbed through balls anyway......if anything they are easier to defend against.
 
The problem is it is harder to break down defences with short passing and dribbling since the patch, so people tend to use lobbed through balls even more often. If you wait for your forwards to make a run they are still really effective.

My record has been worse after it that's for sure. They nerfed all the good stuff and buffed really bad things like auto defending, lobbed through balls.

Definitely wasn't the case for me, I would rarely concede to them before the patch. Now with auto defending your player will run forward to the striker then by the time he turns around the striker has left you for dead.
 
Won 1 game out of 8 tonight after trying out all sifferent formations and Ibra.

Back to 4321 for me tomorrow when I can sell Ibra for higher monies.

The patch was intended to nerf lob through balls but i fully agree it has ruined proper "tika-taka" football , i far rather trying to play footy (even if i lose) than exploiting dodgy ai/mechanics and since the patch i got relegated all the way to div 4 in straight seasons. I have now clawed back to division 2 but its really annoying , i have reverted back to almost my old team with a front 3 of neymar/if messi/bale and i'm not scoring near as many nor can i break down teams so easily just with good passing and off the ball runs.

I have suarez and robben on the bench , robben is lethal to sub on but im finding suarez very ineffective since the patch. Hes scored about 4 in 20 for me , normally i would expect every striker to be about a goal per game .
 
He won't miss.

Do you honestly not like Ibarbo? I mean, I really can't see how he's not the best striker in the game. He's 6'2 and 80something strength, which means he walks through centre backs and has 90something sprint speed so he wins every race ever.
 
I used him and he was absolutely dog for me. But I'm a bit of a snob when it comes to playing FIFA and play how I play irrespective of my results. Ibarbo doesn't really fit into my play style other than having 4* skills but his dribbling is pants anyway.

Made this and it is dreamy. Ideally I'd have CR7 and Little Luka.... alas....

Ibarbo is brilliant Rusty, you're just a snob :p

Of course the top, top players will be better but I wouldn't take anyone below 85 rating over him.
