FIFA 17

I'm finding the game quite hard for some reason. Last year i played on Legendary and thought it was just right but on this one i'm barely eeking out 1-0 wins and drawing a fair bit on Professional.

I'm struggling to skip past defenders this year in player career.

Although it supports 21:9 natively, hence my odd numbered Fifa purchase.

I have to admit, although a PES fan, this is an enjoyable game of football.

The one thing FIFA does better than PES is recreating the matchday atmosphere.

Little things, fan chants, away fans in correct places in stadia etc. Nice.

That's what I miss when playing PES, just not as polished on the atmosphere front yet :(

Got it for £33.92, way over what I wanted but "The Journey" got me hooked in the trial - LOL

I love FIFA games but The Journey really sold me this year. Played it through again until the cliffhanger last night.

Brilliant stuff by EA

Just had to go buy this on PS4 as randomly once every 3 or 4 matches the screen totally freezes until I press the window key to get it going again.

This is fine in offline games but EVERY time it does it online I get a defeat as disconnected!

I've played 12 games online with 8 wins and 4 loses...all 4 were bloody disconnects and the last straw was being 4-0 up in the FUT Draft final...to then disconnect and lose!

Annoying but not one issue on PS4 after 10+ games

so I got bored and bought it, thus far not overly impressed with the gameplay, might take me some getting used to...it just feels different.

on another note, ModdingWay announced yesterday that the frostbite engine is very difficult to mod, and there is a possibility they might not be able to mod it at all :(

Physical interactions are definitely a lot better. Going back to 16 feels like playing QWOP, the players fall over so much. Skill moves seem harder to time properly, which is good because I suck at them anyway.

Also, you can finally do a driven shot - hold B then tap B again before you hit it.

Was wondering, is "The Journey" as silly as the demo. Score own goals or perform bad, but they say you performed awesome when being interviewed?
