There are good players and then there are good WL players. The meta players are all very effective and the more interesting cards you might want to use just get found out in WL. :(

I'm slightly concerned, I've played a few games with De Gea and he's made one great save, I think Fahrmann would have probably saved it too... 4k vs 240k

I'm tempted to start subbing on Ronaldo, 6.25/7 chem shouldn't make a difference and having to use a Real Madrid player massively restricts my team choices which is annoying.
 
fahrmann is excellent considering what your paying, its only the kicking that lets him down which isn't the end of the world in all honesty.
 
Doesn't matter which keeper you have in goal during WL when the majority of goals are low driven inside the area.

Definitely agree about the meta players though, whenever I come up against Viera it's like playing against an extra man in midfield.
 
How many people are using IF's? Unless it's a position change or one of the bigger upgrades (PoTM, league SBC or whatever, third in form) I just feel they're rather pointless now with icons and TOTY cards out, yeah they're far more expensive but I'd rather just save up to get a major upgrade and use the standard card of whichever player I like.

Depends on the IF I suppose, some are really good, some less so.
 
Qualified for the weekend league last night, tried a Spanish side but didn't get on with it. Gone with Seria A side which is much better. Andre Silva is a good ST for only 12kish. like someone else has done I have had Alex Sandro a bunch of times but using IF Ghoulam for now. Hoping Khedira gets an IF as i'll grab that. Might try IF Ramsay as his normal card despite the low stats is quite good.
 
Thinking of buying 88 rio of toty bonucci. Rio always causes me havoc not seen many 88s though. So feedback welcome, lastly bonucci card is unreal but again never seen him. Which one should I go ?
 
The best thing about Blanc is his prime isn't much of an upgrade by the looks of it so you won't feel the need for his prime when it comes out.

From most accounts I've seen prime Rio seems to be noticeably better than the 88 as the pace, defending and physical stat upgrade is decent, particularly the +5 acceleration and +8 stamina.
 
Yeah the prime is ridiculously fast but 88 looks more than adequate not got the extra funds for the prime. I'm selling a few players to fetch him in. I concede far too many goals and hoping he helps me reduce that.

Blanc is 200k more than 88 Rio

Has the unwanted trait of auto fouling in the area. Did it about 5 times in the 30 odd games I had him for. This was back in October and the game has changed quite a lot since then...

Yeah, he did that when I had him, would regularly charge up behind a player pressuring them but auto lunge and give fouls away, apart from that major flaw he was ideal.

Only IF's I use constantly are Allan at CDM and SIF Lozano as a supersub, their stats for their prices are super cheap.

As for the Rio debate his 90 rated card is a beast.
 
Yeah, I'll play ya.

Was expecting Salah to get screwed over by EA again today after Liverpool could only draw with Spurs, didn't expect them to give him a +2 IF :eek:

Winter upgrade as well could push him to 90/91 :cool:
