I bought 2000 points for £15 to give me a boost starting off. Not really that expensive when you consider the hours of fun/rage FUT will give.
There’s a trade off with packs as long as they aren’t affecting you financiallly it can save you a fair bit of time, but then the game can also become stale quicker if you’re using all the better players right from the off. I also feel when you pump money into it there’s more pressure on getting results back from the game so it can make it even more ragey.
Trading is still viable but much more difficult than it once was and is extremely time consuming if you want to make good profits, at the minimum you’ll need the companion app and have to check it often but then you’re competing with thousands of auto buyers.
The addition of squad battles is nice to see and now a viable method of offline play for some nice rewards but I struggle playing against the AI for more than a couple of games at a time, I find it too samey and at higher difficulties it becomes more infuriating than weekend league players.

Where’s cheapest for Fifa coins then? Someone said £60 for 12k, cheapest I’ve seen is £71 for that much.
That's cheap for a card game mate. You're more than double that for Magic, Pokémon cards, etc.

I’ll be on around 9 if you fancy a game.
I got a bit impatient and spoke to EA on live chat, the loans will pop up by the 29th and the "free" packs are released every Sunday.
Still web apping it up right now, waiting until midnight tomorrow to have a game! Upto about 10k which will probably get me next to nothing, planning a cheap Serie A team to harvest coin boosts as I got El Shaarawy in my welcome pack!
