FIFA 18

I'm thinking of swapping out Neymar as really his main asset for me is his speed and that's not unique to him (I can't utilise his 5* skills at all). He's also playing LF at ST so has 7 chem which is annoying on a 600k player.

I don't think a Suarez type player will work as he's not quick enough next to Crespo, the main two I'm thinking of are IF Jesus or Mbappe. Mbappe is a lot cheaper and I've used him before so wouldn't have a problem there, and it would let me buy a couple of improvements elsewhere.

I've used him for 318 games and still don't know how I feel about him. I guess he's the same he is every year. Decently quick, great tackler, and sometimes decides to go for a wander. Haven't noticed the latter much this year, mind. Besides Maldini there isn't anyone I'd want to replace him with. I do want to try Puyol eventually, though...

Varane will get the chop before Ramos but they've both been decent so far.

I hope to God this 'tizz' business doesn't become a thing. Thanks for nothing, Andy. :rolleyes:
 
Just played a quick WL game after watching the UFC. Why do people shush at 1-0 or when they equalise? So satisfying winding them up in return.

Maldini CB versions or LB version on 7chem? I'm think of doing the latter...
 
Made it to Gold 3 with 1 game to spare as always. I just can't mentally break past it. Main issue is possession players who tap it around my box, I try endlessly to press without pulling a defender out, jockeying with the midfielders and trying to get the ball for me is a nightmare. Other issue is breaking teams down the other end to a similar ilk as before; just passing it around an unable to get space for that killer ball or shot that gets me in. Can anyone explain this LB dribbling to me? I watch the videos and try it but I don't see any noticeable difference from my end. Drag back is slowly becoming more useful in my game though.

Also now love Dybala, think I'll keep him

Where do people find the time for this? :p

If you take an average of 15 to 20 minutes to see out a '12 minute' game after all the pointless animations that people won't skip through etc. then you're looking at around 100 hours on just those games, ignoring any time spent on transfers, setups, tactics etc.

Since release you must have spent at least 3 hours a day on FIFA without fail? :p
 
Seriously getting bored of squad battles now. The cheating Ai is so annoying. David Luiz outpacing totw sterling.. Yeah ok game...
 
I find often when I think i'm being unfairly outpaced, I glance down only to realise the AI has had the player sprinting the entire distance of the pitch to get in position and by the time I play the ball to him he's completely drained of stamina :p
